Aran islands-Dyushenna amyotrophy (French doctor of F. A. Aran, 1817-1861; French neuropathologist of G. Century of A. Duchenne, 1806-1875) – amyotrophy which is caused by the degenerative process proceeding in cells of front horns of a spinal cord.
