Autovaccine

Autovaccine (autovaccinum; Greek autos – own, the same + lat. vaccinus – cow) – a vaccine which is made of the microorganisms allocated from that individual for diagnosis or treatment of a disease of which it is intended.

Allocate:

  • Autovaccine live (autovaccinum vivum) – suspension of viable microorganisms (for example, colibacillus – for therapy of dysbacteriosis);
  • The autovaccine complex (autovaccinum complexum) – is prepared from microbic cells and products of their life activity;
  • Autovaccine corpuscular (autovaccinum corpusculare) – suspension of microbic cells.

Whether you know that:

In Great Britain there is a law according to which the surgeon can refuse to do to the patient operation if he smokes or has excess weight. The person has to refuse addictions, and then, perhaps, he will not need an operative measure.
