Drum furrow

Drum furrow (sulcus tympanicus – definition in system of anatomic terms: PNA (The anatomic nomenclature Parisian), BNA (The anatomic nomenclature Basel), JNA (The anatomic nomenclature Yenskaya)) – the circular bone furrow which is in outside acoustical pass of a temporal bone; the place to which the tympanic membrane is attached.
