Hemolysis

Hemolysis (haemolysis; Greek haima – blood + Greek lysis – disintegration, destruction; synonym: a hematolysis – outdated, an erythrocytolysis) – the destruction of erythrocytes which is followed by hit of hemoglobin on the Wednesday surrounding erythrocytes.

Allocate hemolysis:

  • intra hardware – proceeding during perfusion in the cardiopulmonary bypass;
  • intracellular (intracellularis) – proceeding in the middle of cells of reticuloendothelial system, it is preferential in a spleen;
  • intravascular (intravascularis) – made in the circulating blood;
  • postgepatitny (posthepatitica) – appearing after the postponed viral hepatitis owing to emergence in blood of hemolysins (autoantibodies to erythrocytes).
