Vishnevsky-Donetsk anastomosis

Vishnevsky-Donetsk anastomosis (A. A. Vishnevsky, Soviet surgeon, 1906-1975; D. A. The Donetsk, Soviet surgeon, was born in 1922) – the anastomosis of a branch of a pulmonary trunk with a subclavial artery imposed by the "end sideways" method using a transplant; imposing of the Vishnevsky-Donetsk anastomosis is carried out at surgical therapy of some inborn heart diseases.

In Great Britain there is a law according to which the surgeon can refuse to do to the patient operation if he smokes or has excess weight. The person has to refuse addictions, and then, perhaps, he will not need an operative measure.
