Tribestan – the phytodrug applied to stimulation of sexual function at men.
Pharmacological action of Tribestan
Tribestan possesses fortifying action, and also stimulates sexual function at men. Active components of drug – steroid saponins which belong to furostanolovy type and are extracted from such plant as Tribulus terrestris L. Drug actively influences process of production of testosterone in a male body, but also, promotes increase in time of an erection and sexual desire, mobility of spermatozoa and their quantities. At women Tribestan is capable to stimulate process of production of estrogen, and also promotes increase in a libido, makes positive impact on endocrine system and manifestations of the klimakterialny period, improves a condition of integuments. Drug has hypolipidemic effect, reduces the LPNP level and the general cholesterol, and without changing the LPVP level and triglycerides in blood.
Indications to use of Tribestan
In the instruction to Tribestan it is told that drug is used as tonic for increase in body resistance to exercise and mental stresses, and also for the purpose of increase in working capacity at long and intensive sports activities, in the fortifying purposes after long and serious illnesses.
Drug and analogs of Tribestan is successfully used in treatment of sexual frustration and dysfunctions which treat: sexual weakness, an idiopathic oligoastenoteratozoospermiya, and also an azoospermism at immunological infertility. Besides, Tribestan use for increase a libido and forces of an erection at men; at hormonal infertility at women, frigidity, a menopausal syndrome.
Route of administration of Tribestan
Drug and analogs of Tribestan accept together with food three times a day one-two tablets. The necessary course of therapy is selected taking into account individual approach, after carrying out consultation with the attending physician.
Side effects of Tribestan
In responses to Tribestan it is noted that use of drug can be followed by such by-effects as allergic reactions to active components of Tribestan, and also emergence of nausea. At manifestation of side effects it is necessary to stop temporarily administration of drug for two-three days or to reduce a daily dosage.

Pregnancy and period of a lactation
Use of drug and analogs of Tribestan contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Structure
Tribestan contains in one tablet of drug 250 mg of Tribulus terrestris L extract. Excipients: povidone, опадрай, talc, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, MKTs, кросповидон.
Interaction of Tribestan with other drugs
In reviews of Tribestan it is noted that at its concomitant use with the drugs stimulating an ovulation at women strengthening of therapeutic effects is not excluded.
