Vazobral
Application instruction:
Vazobral – the drug promoting improvement of cerebral and peripheric circulation.
Form of release and structure
Drug is produced in shape:
- Tablets (on 10 pieces in the blister, on 1 or 3 blisters in a cardboard pack);
- Solution for intake (in bottles from dark glass of 50 ml with the dosing syringe, on 1 bottle in a cardboard pack).
Active agents of Vazobral are:
- Caffeine (40 mg in 1 tablet, 10 mg in 1 ml of solution);
- Alpha дигидроэргокриптина мезилат (4 mg in 1 tablet, 1 mg in 1 ml of solution).
Tablets as auxiliary components contain:
- Cellulose microcrystallic;
- Silicon dioxide colloid anhydrous;
- Lactoses monohydrate;
- Magnesium stearate.
Excipients of solution are:
- Citric acid;
- Glitserol;
- Ethanol;
- The water purified.
Indications to use
Indications to Vazobral's use are:
- Cerebrovascular insufficiency (including caused by cerebral atherosclerosis);
- Vestibular and labyrinth disturbances (sonitus, dizziness, gipoakuziya) of ischemic genesis;
- Retinopathy (hypertensive and diabetic);
- Venous insufficiency;
- Decrease in intellectual activity, disturbance of orientation in space, the disturbances of attention and memory connected with age changes;
- Effects of disturbance of cerebral circulation;
- Menyer's disease;
- Disturbances of peripheric arterial circulation (disease and Reynaud's syndrome).
Drug is also appointed for prevention of migraine.
Contraindications
Vazobral's use contraindicated in the presence at the patient of hypersensitivity to drug components.
Route of administration and dosage
Tablets and solution are recommended to be accepted inside during food 2 times a day, washing down with a small amount of liquid. At use of tablets the single dose makes 0,5-1 tablets, solution – 2-4 ml (1-2 dosing the syringe).
Duration of a course of treatment – 2-3 months, if necessary can repeatedly be treated.
Side effects
Vazobral's use can cause the following side effects:
- From digestive tract: nausea, dyspepsia, a gastralgia (similar manifestations do not demand drug withdrawal);
- Seldom (no more than 1% of cases): headaches and dizziness, excitement;
- Very seldom (no more than 0,1% of cases): lowering of arterial pressure, tachycardia, allergic reactions.
Special instructions
Vazobral's use by the patients having arterial hypertension does not exclude need of reception of anti-hypertensive means.
Drug has vazodilatiruyushchy effect, without influencing system arterial pressure.
The caffeine which is a part of drug can cause tachycardia and a sleep disorder.

Vazobral has no structural analogs, for purpose of drug with similar therapeutic effect it is necessary to see a doctor.
Terms and storage conditions
Period of validity in the form of tablets – 4 years, solution – 3 years. To store at a temperature of 15-25 °C, in the place, unavailable to children.
