Aktipol
Application instruction:
Aktipol – the antiviral means of antioxidant, immunomodulatory, radio tire-tread action accelerating regeneration of a cornea.
Form of release and structure
- Solution for injections and an instillation in an eye of 0,007%: colourless transparent liquid (on 1 and 2 ml in ampoules, on 10 or 50 ampoules complete with an ampoule knife in cardboard packaging);
- Drops eye 0,007%: colourless transparent liquid (on 5 ml in polymeric/plastic bottles droppers or glass bottles, or in bottles with a cover dropper, in a pack a cardboard 1 bottle, in a box of cardboard 50 bottles).
And drops contains in 1 ml of solution:
- Active agent: para-aminobenzoic acid – 0,07 mg;
- Additional components: water for injections and sodium chloride.
Indications to use
- The virus keratouveita, conjunctivitis and keratoconjunctivites caused by adenovirus, Herpes zoster, Herpes simplex;
- Keratopathy of postoperative, posttraumatic and infectious genesis;
- Burns and injuries of eyes;
- Dystrophic diseases of a retina and cornea;
- The discomfort connected with fatigue and tension of eyes including during the work at the computer and carrying contact lenses.
Contraindications
The only strict contraindication to Aktipol is hypersensitivity to his components.
There are no data on safety of use of drug for children, during pregnancy and a lactation therefore to these categories of patients means can be appointed only in those cases if the estimated advantage exceeds potential risks.
Route of administration and dosage
Aktipol in the form of solution is applied to instillations, to parabulbar, retrobulbar, subconjunctival and perivazalny injections; in the form of eye drops – for instillations.
The recommended dosing mode:
- Topical administration: on 1-2 drops in a conjunctival sac of the affected eye from 3 to 8 times a day to an absolute recovery, then – on 2 drops 3 times a day within 7 days;
- Perivazalny introduction (at retina dystrophies): on 1 ml, the course of treatment consists of 10-12 injections. Also at this disease perhaps parabulbar administration of drug on 0,5 ml;
- Parabulbar, retrobulbar and subconjunctival introduction: on 0,3-0,5 ml. The course of treatment consists of 3-15 injections, intervals between injections are defined individually.
As a rule, at superficial forms of a herpetic keratitis of an injection do in 1-3 days in a combination with drug instillations (2 drops of 4-8 times a day depending on the course of a disease).
At deep forms of a herpetic keratitis in an initiation of treatment of an injection do 1 time a day daily, further – 1 time in 2-3 days in a combination with drug instillations (2 drops of 4-8 times a day depending on the course of a disease).
At both forms of a keratitis after recovery treatment is continued within 7-10 days, dig in 2 drops a day.
Side effects
Aktipol is had preferential well. In rare instances there is a conjunctival hyperemia, local allergic reactions are possible.
Special instructions
Accidental administration of drug inside does not represent risk of development of systemic side effects.
Medicinal interaction
Therapeutic effect of para-aminobenzoic acid is strengthened by the modified nucleosides (for example, a fludarabina phosphate, an acyclovir and ганцикловир) and antibiotics.
Aktipol it is not necessary to apply along with Enkad and sulfanamide drugs (for example, albucid).
Terms and storage conditions
To store in the unavailable to children, protected from light place at a temperature up to 40 ºС. Not to freeze.
Period of validity – 2 years.
After the first opening it is possible to store eye drops 7 days, in polymeric bottles droppers – 14 days.
