Альфа-токоферола ацетат - раствор для приема внутрь Alpha tocopherol acetate – natural antioxidant, the vitamin E relating to group of fat-soluble vitamins.

Form of release and structure

Vitamin E is produced in shape:

Capsules on 100 mg;
Oil transparent solution for intake with contents in 1 ml of active agent in number of 50 mg, 100 mg and 300 mg.

Active ingredient of both forms is directly Alpha tocopherol acetate, auxiliary – oil of soybeans. The structure of a cover of capsules includes gelatin (52,75 mg), глицерол (16,80 mg) and methylhydroxybenzoate (0,4 mg).

Indications to use

Alpha tocopherol acetate according to the instruction is appointed at:

Muscular dystrophy (reduction of force of muscles and their volume);
Amyotrophic side sclerosis (disease of TsNS which consequence deterioration in a physical activity of extremities and facial muscles is);
Myocardiopathies (disease of a cardiac muscle);
Spasms of peripheral vessels;
Liver diseases;
Disturbances of a potentiality (sexual activity) and disturbance of a spermatogenesis (process of formation of sex cells);
Some types of skin diseases, including at psoriasis;
Failures of a menstrual cycle;
To threat of an abortion.

In Alpha tocopherol pediatrics acetate is shown at:

Hypotrophies (the frustration of food causing deficit of body weight);
Sclerodermas (general disease of skin);
Hypervitaminosis D (excess contents in a vitamin D organism).

As antioxidant the medicine is applied in complex therapy of eye, cardiovascular diseases, to reduction of side effects at treatment by chemotherapeutic drugs. There are data that it increases efficiency of anticonvulsant therapy at epilepsy (in case of the increased content in blood of products of peroxide oxidation of lipids).

Contraindications

Use of Alpha tocopherol of acetate is contraindicated at hypersensitivity to the components which are a part of a medicine.

Route of administration and dosage

Drug in any dosage form is usually appointed on 100-300 mg a day, as much as possible – 1 g.

The dosage and duration of therapy of a hypovitaminosis E are defined by the doctor individually depending on weight of a state.

Side effects

At use of Alpha tocopherol of acetate development of allergic reactions is possible. In high doses it can cause diarrhea and pains in epigastriums. At prolonged use in a dosage more than 400 PIECES a day can develop:

Illegibility of visual perception;
Disorders of sexual function;
Increased fatigue;
Dizziness;
Adynamy;
Gastralgia;
Headache;
Thrombophlebitis;
Nausea;
Diarrhea;
Thromboembolism.

Special instructions

It is necessary to appoint vitamin E in capsules and solution with care at a myocardial infarction, a heavy cardiosclerosis and high risk of a thromboembolism.

Terms and storage conditions

Medicine is released without appointment of the doctor. To store in the place, dry, unavailable to direct sunshine, at a temperature of 15-25 °C. A period of validity – 2 years.
