Andriol
Application instruction:
Andriol – the medicine filling shortage of testosterone – endogenous hormone which is necessary for normal development of men's generative organs and secondary sexual characteristics.
Form of release and structure
Andriol release in capsules a dosage 40 mg. The main operating drug component – testosterone ундеканоат.
Excipients: triglycerides srednetsepochny, propylene glycol mono-laurate, lecithin, глицерол, castor oil, gelatin, dye.
Indications to use
Andriol appoint as gormonozamestitelny therapy at the diseases and states caused by a lack of testosterone:
- Endocrine impotence;
- Eunuchoidism;
- Postkastratsionny syndrome;
- Hypopituitarism;
- The infertility connected with disturbance of a spermatogenesis;
- The climacteric phenomena at men (decrease in a libido, deterioration in overall health);
- Masculinization at transsexuals;
- The osteoporosis caused by deficit of androgens.
Contraindications
Andriol's use is contraindicated at suspicion on a carcinoma chest or a prostate, and also at hypersensitivity to drug components. With care appoint medicine at the latent or expressed heart failure, migraine, hypertensia, a renal failure, epilepsy, a high-quality prostatauxe.
Route of administration and dosage
Andriol appoint in an initial dosage 120-160 mg/days within 2-3 weeks. For carrying out a maintenance therapy drug is accepted on 40-120 mg/days. The daily dose is divided into two receptions.
Medicine should be accepted during food, without chewing, washing down with enough liquid.
Side effects
Andriol's use for boys in the prepubertatny period can cause premature closing of an epiphysis, the accelerated puberty, increase in a penis and frequency of erections.
Drug can cause a priapism (the painful and long erection which often is not connected with sexual excitement), an oligospermatism, reduction of volume of an ejaculate in men.
Besides, medicine promotes a delay of sodium and water in an organism.
Special instructions
At manifestation of androgenozavisimy side effects treatment needs to be stopped. It is possible to resume Andriol's reception only after disappearance of the undesirable phenomena, the dosage at the same time should be reduced.

Andriol's analogs are the following medicines: Nebido, Testosteroni propionas, Androgel.

Period of validity – 3 years.
