Atsidin-pepsin
Application instruction:
Atsidin-pepsin – the combined drug facilitating digestion of food in a stomach on group accessory belongs to digestive fermental means.
Form of release and structure
Release medicine in the form of tablets on 0,25 g: white or slightly yellowish color, with a specific smell, acid taste, marble stains on a surface are allowed (in a glass jar of 50 tablets, in a pack of cardboard 1 bank).
Content of active active ingredients is –1 part of pepsin to 4 parts of a betaine of a hydrochloride.
Excipients: polyvinylpirrolidone, calcium stearate, aerosil, sorbitol.
Indications to use
- The stomach inflammation which is followed by absence or decrease in level of hydrochloric acid (hypo - and anacid gastritises);
- Lack of release of hydrochloric acid and enzymes in a stomach (akhiliya);
- Digestive disturbances (dyspepsia).
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to drug components;
- The hyperacidity of a gastric juice accompanying a peptic ulcer of a stomach, a peptic ulcer of a duodenum and erosive gastroduodenit.
There are no data on drug use by pregnant women, nursing mothers and children.
Route of administration and dosage
Drug should be accepted orally, in time or after food.
The adult appoint 2 tablets (previously they need to be dissolved in ¼ or ½ glasses of water), frequency rate of reception – 3-4 times a day.
In pediatrics the recommended single dose of Atsidin-pepsina makes ¼-1 a tablet at the same frequency rate of receptions, as at adults.
The course of therapy depends on course of a disease and efficiency of treatment and is defined by the attending physician.
Side effects
In rare instances use of Atsidin-pepsina can make a lock, sick, heartburn and allergic reactions.
Special instructions
Self-treatment by Atsidin-pepsinom, as well as drugs of similar action, inadmissibly.
If necessary, the attending physician has to provide more detailed information on interchangeability of the drugs improving digestion, he will pick up replacement to this digestive enzyme.
