Diet 6 – a food allowance at gout, an urolithiasis (with education from uric acid of stones – an uraturia), urate Особенности диеты 6diathesis, an oksaluriya, a cystinuria. One of 15 medical diets which were developed by the Soviet scientist M. Pevzner in the first half of the XX century.

The Diet 6 for normalization of exchange of purines, reduction of formation of uric acid and its salts in an organism, shift in the alkaline party of reaction of urine is recommended.

On the main chemical composition the standard daily rate of the Diet 6 has to contain:

  • Proteins of 70-90 g, 50% of animal origin, preferential milk;
  • Fats of 80-90 g, 30% vegetable;
  • Carbohydrates of 350-400 g are about 80 g of sugar;
  • Table salt of 7-10 g;
  • Liquid of 1,5-2,0 l, is possible more.

Daily energy value of the Diet of 6 - 2400-2600 kcal.

Diet 6: menu

The general recommendations for the Diet 6 – a complete elimination of products with high content of oxalic acid and purines, salt use restriction, the preferential use of alkalizing products, the increased norm of consumption of liquids. It is necessary to reduce amount of proteins, refractory fats and carbohydrates.

At preparation of dishes for the menu of the Diet it is obligatory to boil the 6th meat, a bird and fish, not to use broth, for other products usual culinary processing. Fish and meat dishes include in the menu of the Diet 6 from 2 to 3 weekly, meat – 150 g a portion, fish – 170 g.

Meal temperature usual, a four times diet, between meals and drink is on an empty stomach obligatory.

It is once a week recommended to do fasting day, using only cottage cheese, milk, kefir, fruit.

Products and dishes from them which are allowed for the use in the menu of the Diet 6:

  • Bread of any grades from otrubny, rye, wheat flour;
  • Fresh and fermented vegetables, salads from them;
  • First courses – all types of soups, borsch, Russian cabbage soup on vegetable broths;
  • Fast grades of meat, fish and a bird are not more often 3 weekly, in any culinary processing, but previously boiled;
  • In a large number various dairy products and dishes on their basis;
  • In moderate quantity various grain;
  • 1 egg a day made in any way;
  • Any vegetables, exception bean;
  • In a large number any berries and fruit, including a citrus (both crude, and dishes from them), prunes;
  • Milk and fruit kissels and creams;
  • Sauces only on vegetable broth;
  • Honey, jam, fruit candy, fruit jelly;
  • From drinks – tea, coffee only rather weak (it is possible with milk), kefir, svezheotzhaty juice, herbal tea, broth of wheat bran, alkaline mineral water.

The 6th products and dishes prohibited for use in the menu of the Diet from them:

  • Any broths Показания для диеты 6and sauces on their basis – mushroom, fish, meat;
  • Preserved and smoked foods;
  • The frozen meat and fish;
  • Refractory and cooking fats;
  • Any bean vegetables soups and sorrel;
  • Mushrooms, rhubarb, spinach, sorrel, siliculose asparagus haricot and peas, cauliflower;
  • Offal – a liver, language, kidneys;
  • Salty and smoked fish, meat, cheeses;
  • Marinades and pickles from any vegetables;
  • Cocoa, chocolate, strong coffee and tea;
  • Raspberry and cranberry;
  • Dried fruits;
  • Dried cereals. An exception - the purified rice, the wheat peeled and crushed;
  • Rich confectionery with icing sugar or salty;
  • Alcoholic beverages of any fortress.

In the menu of the Diet 6 it is necessary to limit the use of the products exciting a nervous system – spices, acute snack, hard liquors.

Approximate menu of the Diet 6

The approximate menu of the Diet 6 for one day has to include:

  • The first breakfast – vegetable salad with gas station from vegetable oil, egg (an omelet, light-boiled or abrupt), a carrot and apple pudding or baked pudding, rather weak tea;
  • The second breakfast – broth from a dogrose;
  • Lunch – any soup on vegetable broth or milk, boiled fish, meat dishes or a bird in any culinary processing every other day alternate with vegetable dishes (potato or carrot patties, etc.), kissel or fresh berries and fruit compote;
  • Afternoon snack – fresh berries or fruit (apple, orange, grapefruit);
  • Any vegetable dishes (vegetable stuffed cabbage with rice, ragout), dairy products dishes, weak tea or coffee, svezheotzhaty juice;
  • For the night it is recommended to drink broth from wheat bran.

In the absence of problems of cardiovascular system and kidneys the approximate menu of the Diet 6 recommends to use not less than 1,5-2,0 l of water between meals.

Diet 6: recipes

Diet 6 - recipes simple in preparation, useful and tasty dishes.

Vegetable cabbage soup.

Ingredients for one portion: carrots of 30 g, cabbage of 100 g, swede of 20 g, turnip of 100 g, potatoes of 40 g, leek of 25 g, milk of 200 ml, oil of creamy 10 g, greens.

To propasserovat the onions and roots, bars of potatoes cut by straws with oil, to place in the boiling water, to cook 10 minutes. We add cabbage, we boil to readiness. We add boiled milk directly to a plate and we strew with small cut greens.

Potatoes cutlets.

Ingredients: potatoes of 0.5 kg, butter of 40 g, wheat flour 35-40 g, 2 eggs, vegetable oil of 30 ml, salt.

To boil potatoes, water to merge, add butter, to knead everything. To add eggs and flour, to mix carefully to homogeneous mass. To create meatballs or to lay out cutlets on a frying pan with vegetable oil, to fry before formation of a ruddy crust.

At gout, an urolithiasis and other problems of an urinary system it is recommended to have cowberry tea.

On the Diet 6th recipe of cowberry broth.

To fill in with 1 glass of the boiling water 1 tablespoon of leaves of cowberry, to draw half an hour. To accept on 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day or to add to usual tea or compote on 1 tablespoon on a glass.

It is necessary to know that within nearly hundred years which passed since drawing up 15 medical diets by M. Pevzner (or tables), a lot of things changed. New scientific developments and modern achievements of medicine allowed to create pharmacological drugs which quickly and effectively struggle with diseases.
