Authorship of a diet belongs to the Czech nutritionist doctor Horvat, its second name – the Czech diet. Weight reduction happens due to reduction of caloric content of a diet and reduction of portions. At the same time the great value is attached to balance of a diet and its nutritional value.

Rules of a diet of doctor Horvat:

  • In day there have to be 3 main meals and 2 additional (having a snack) with approximately equal periods between them;
  • It is necessary to adhere strictly to the menu painted for every day of a diet, observing the specified sizes of portions. Where the amount of food is not specified, the serving size can be any (reasonably);
  • Heat treatment of dishes in the dietary ways: boiling, suppression, processing the ferry, frying without fat (on a grill, a dry frying pan or in an oven);
  • If there was a failure, the diet should be begun from the first day;
  • In days it is necessary to drink not less than 1,5 l of water.

The diet is calculated for a period of 1 week to 3 if after the first week it is decided to prolong a diet, the menu repeats in the same order.

Advantages

For a week of a diet of doctor Horvat it is possible to reduce weight by 2-4 kg.

As the diet is balanced, the health on it does not suffer. The various diet and a large number of meals (5 in day) do a diet simple in observance, there is no strong feeling of hunger on it.

It is recommended to move much, regularly, but not excessively to be engaged in physical exercises, to happen daily in the fresh air. It increases efficiency of a diet and helps to transfer it easier.

Five times food is optimum in the small portions for the alimentary system at regular intervals, and good digestion promotes improvement of all organism. The created habit to fractional food interferes with a set of excess weight further.

Shortcomings and contraindications

The diet is not recommended at diseases of digestive tract and kidneys.

What products are resolved?

  • Meat and meat products of low fat content (sausage and ham);
  • Fish of low-fat grades;
  • Milk and dairy products of low fat content;
  • Butter;
  • Eggs;
  • Vegetables;
  • Fruit;
  • Crackers;
  • Drinks: natural juice, tea, black coffee, mineral water.

What products are prohibited?

All products which are not specified in the list resolved, including sugar are prohibited. If the refusal of sugar is too difficult, the use of sweeteners is allowed (for example, stevias).

Menu

The menu of a diet of doctor Horvat for 7 days:

First day

Breakfast: 1 soft-boiled eggs, 1 crouton, tea or coffee.

Having a snack: 100 g of apples.

Lunch: 100 g of boiled potatoes, 100 g of boiled beef, 200 g of salad from fresh vegetables, black coffee.

Having a snack: 100 g of fruit, tea.

Dinner: juice, 1 egg, 100 g of vegetables, 80 g of ham, 10 g of butter.

Second day

Breakfast: crouton, tea.

Having a snack: 200 g of carrot salad.

Lunch: 100 g of potatoes, 50 g of braised beef, 150 g of a melon.

Having a snack: coffee with milk.

Dinner: 150 g of spinach, 150 g of fish fillet.

Third day

Breakfast: 20 g of crackers, 30 g of ham, tea.

Having a snack: 150 g of grapefruit.

Lunch: 200 g of boiled or stewed potatoes, 150 g of meat with carrots.

Having a snack: 200 ml of tomato juice.

Dinner: 50 g of cottage cheese, 100 g of potatoes.

Fourth day

Breakfast: 30 g of bread, 50 g of processed cheese, tea.

Having a snack: 150 g of orange.

Lunch: 150 g of cucumber salad, 100 g of boiled potatoes, 150 g of chicken fillet.

Having a snack: 150 g of apples.

Dinner: 30 g of ham, 2 eggs, 150 g of salad from tomatoes.

Fifth day

Breakfast: 30 g of bread, 100 g of cottage cheese, tea.

Having a snack: 100 g of berries or fruit.

Lunch: 150 g of boiled meat, 100 g of potatoes, 200 ml of compote.

Having a snack: 200 ml of kefir.

Dinner: juice, fresh vegetables salad.

Sixth day

Breakfast: apples or water-melon.

Having a snack: 200 g of carrot salad.

Lunch: 50 g of cabbage salad, 100 g of potatoes, 100 g of veal with tomato sauce.

Having a snack: 50 g of a radish.

Dinner: 1 boiled egg, 100 g of mushrooms, cucumbers salad.

Seventh day

Breakfast: 20 g of crackers, 50 g of cottage cheese, tea.

Having a snack: 200 ml of milk.

Lunch: 150 g of pork, fried on a grill, 100 g of potatoes, 100 g of vegetables.

Having a snack: 200 g of stewed haricot, coffee with milk.

Dinner: 2 croutons, 200 ml of kefir.

Useful tips

Council 1: For seasoning of salads it is possible to use natural yogurt without additives, a spoon of low-fat sour cream or lemon juice.
