Flagyl

The dosage at a nonspecific vaginitis makes 1 suppository twice a day. Duration of a course makes week. If necessary it is also possible to connect metronidazole orally. Parallel treatment of the sexual partner regardless of existence of symptomatology at it is obligatory.

Therapy by Flagyl and analogs should not continue more than 10 days, and courses to repeat more than 3 times a year.

Side effect of Flagyl

Flagyl causes intolerance of ethanol.

Drug strengthens effect of indirect anticoagulants, increases plasma concentration of lithium, cyclosporine, a bisulfan.

The concomitant use of phenobarbital, Phenytoinum can accelerate Flagyl elimination.

Use of Flagyl at pregnancy
