Syrup: ropish liquid from yellowy-brown till yellow color with a peculiar smell, opacification of drug and loss of a deposit is possible (on 100 ml in dark glass bottles droppers or bottles, on 1 bottle in a cardboard pack complete with a measured spoon (spoon)).

Active agent: extract of leaves of an ivy (2,2-2,9:1) – 4 g;
Auxiliary components: propylene glycol – 83,69 g; глицерол – 20 g; peppermint oil – 0,03 g; fragrance (in 100 g contains: oil of an anise star-shaped – 47,95 g; left menthol – 27,4 g; eucalyptus oil – 24,65 g) – 0,13 g.

Is a part of 100 ml of syrup:

Active agent: extract of leaves of an ivy (2,2-2,9:1) – 0,8 g;
Auxiliary components: a gietelloza – 0,15 g; propylene glycol – 13,877 g; глицерилгидроксистеарат a macrogoal – 0,5 g; oil of fruits of an anise star-shaped – 0,015 g; глицерол – 10 g; 70% sorbitol solution (uncrystallizable) – 50 g; the purified water – 39,9605 g.

Indications to use

Геделикс appoint as an expectorant at treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of bronchial tubes and upper respiratory tracts which course is followed by cough with the hardly separated phlegm.

Contraindications

Insufficiency argininesuccinate-sintetazy;
Hypersensitivity to drug components.

In addition contraindications to Gedeliks's use in the form of drops is:

Predisposition to a laryngospasm;
Bronchial asthma;
Age up to 2 years.

Drug in the form of syrup is not appointed the patient with hereditary intolerance of fructose.

The feeding and pregnant women are not recommended to apply Gedeliks (because of insufficiency of clinical data).

Route of administration and dosage

Геделикс accept after food inside.

If the doctor did not appoint other scheme of use, Gedeliks in the form of drops should accept 3 times a day in the following doses (a single/daily dose):

Adults and children of 10 years – 31/93 drops;
Children of 4-10 years – 21/63 drops;
Children of 2-4 years – 16/48 drops.

Drops should be accepted undiluted, washing down with enough water (up to 200-250 ml). Before use the bottle with drug should be shaken up.

If the doctor did not appoint other scheme of use, Gedeliks in the form of syrup accept in the following doses (a single/daily dose):

Adults and children of 10 years – 5/15 ml, frequency rate of reception – 3 times a day;
Children of 4-10 years – 2,5/10 ml, frequency rate of reception – 4 times a day;
Children of 1-4 years – 2,5/7,5 ml, frequency rate of reception – 3 times a day;
Children till 1 year – 2,5/2,5 ml, frequency rate of reception – once a day.

In packaging with drug there is a measured spoon corresponding of 5 ml.

Teenagers and adults are recommended to accept syrup undiluted. Small and to babies drug should be diluted with a small amount of water.

Duration of reception of Gedeliks is defined by disease severity. The therapeutic course should not be less than 7 days. Administration of drug is recommended to be continued within 2-3 days after disappearance of symptoms of a disease.

Side effects

During therapy development of such side effects is possible: allergic reactions, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, in some cases – pains in epigastric area.

At aggravation of these side effects or at development of any other disturbances which are not specified in the instruction, it is necessary to see consultation a doctor.

Special instructions

In the absence of improvement within 4-5 days of therapy or at fervescence, emergence of a purulent phlegm or attacks of suffocation it is necessary to see a doctor immediately.

Sugar therefore patients with a diabetes mellitus can accept it is not a part of syrup. 1 measured spoon (5 ml) contains 1,75 g of sorbitol (0,44 g of fructose) that there correspond 0,15 grain units (GU).

Medicinal interaction
