Description:

Paroxysmal arrhythmia (Bouveret's disease, Buvre's disease) are attacks of the accelerated heartbeat with a frequency of 130-200 cordial reductions a minute. Attacks begin and stop suddenly and can last from several seconds to one days and more.

Symptoms of Paroxysmal arrhythmia:

The first symptom of a disease is the feeling of a powerful push in a breast and rapid increase of heartbeat to 150 and more beats per minute. Sometimes, preferential at young people paroxysmal arrhythmia is connected with functional frustration – a hyperexcitability, heart neurosis. At patients with chronic diseases – coronary heart disease, myocardites, heart diseases organic lesions of a myocardium are the reason of attacks. In both cases symptoms of a Bouveret's disease are identical.

Reasons of Paroxysmal arrhythmia:

At paroxysmal arrhythmia in the carrying-out system of auricles or ventricles there is an excitement center which generates high-frequency impulses.

Treatment of Paroxysmal arrhythmia:

For elimination of an attack of paroxysmal arrhythmia at first use easy ways of reflex influence:

  1. Valsalva's test. Follows, it natuzhivatsya (to strain muscles of a stomach, legs) within 15 seconds  at an interval of 1-2 min.
  2. Test of Chermika-Gerringa is a massage of a point of a branching of the general carotid artery on a neck within 15 seconds. Serially at the left and on the right, at an interval of 1-2 minutes.

Such methods are contraindicated for elderly patients and at the expressed atherosclerosis of vessels. Sometimes the attack manages to be stopped reception of valocordin, Corvalol or Relanium.

If such simple measures do not help, reception of one tablet of an etatsizin, anaprilin, novokainamid, Finoptinum or sotaleks is recommended.

If after that tachycardia does not stop intravenously administer the antiarrhytmic drug (новокаинамид, Finoptinum, a rhythm flax or кордарон). In the absence of result carry out a countershock.
