Migrenol

Migrenol – the combined analgetic antipyretic.

Form of release and structure

Dosage form – tablets, coated (on 8 or 15 pieces in the blister, on 1 or 2 blisters in a cardboard pack).

Active ingredients in 1 tablet:

• Paracetamol – 500 mg;
• Caffeine – 65 mg.

Excipients: karnaubsky wax, silicon dioxide, calcium hydrophosphate dihydrate, karmelloza of sodium, starch, magnesium stearate, microcrystallic cellulose, stearic acid, Opadri clergy of YS-1-7006 (gipromelloz + macrogoal).

Indications to use

Migrenol is intended for stopping of a pain syndrome of various localization:

• Migraine;
• Headache;
• Muscular pain;
• Joint and bone pain;
• Neuralgia;
• Dentagra (including after the dental procedures);
• Painful periods.

Also drug is used at fever, catarrhal diseases and flu as an antipyretic.

Contraindications

Absolute:

• Genetic absence glyukozo-6-fosfatdegidrogenazy;
• The expressed abnormal liver functions and kidneys;
• The expressed arterial hypertension;
• Epilepsy;
• The expressed atherosclerosis;
• Children's age up to 12 years;
• Period of pregnancy and lactation;

• Gilbert's syndrome and other hyperbilirubinemias;
• Sleep disorders;
• Glaucoma.

Route of administration and dosage

Migrenol it is necessary to accept inside.

If the doctor did not order other scheme of treatment, usually accept 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day (at least with 4-hour intervals).

The most admissible doses: one-time – 2 tablets, daily – 8 tablets.

Without observation of the doctor it is necessary to accept Migrenol no more than 3 days – as an antipyretic, no more than 5 days – as anesthetic.

If after the termination of a course of treatment symptoms of a disease remain, it is necessary to see a doctor for careful inspection.

Side effects

• Digestive tract: nausea, pain in epigastric area, vomiting, disturbances of work of a liver;
• System of a hemopoiesis: hemolitic anemia, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis;
• Nervous system: dizziness, sleeplessness;
• Dermatological and allergic reactions: urticaria, itch, skin rashes (including allergic character), Quincke's disease, toxic epidermal necrolysis, mnogoformny exudative erythema.

At prolonged use of Migrenol in high doses hemolitic and aplastic anemia, a pancytopenia, nephrotoxicity, a methemoglobinemia, a hepatotoxic action are possible.

Special instructions

During treatment drug should not be abused kofeinsoderzhashchy products (including tea and coffee) as the caffeine overdose is possible.

At long reception of Migrenol (more than 7 days) it is necessary to control peripheral blood, a functional condition of kidneys and a liver.

Drug influences result of a drug test that should be considered to athletes.

Migrenol can complicate diagnosis at an acute pain in a stomach.

At patients with bronchial asthma and a pollinosis the risk of development of allergic reactions increases.

During therapy it is necessary to refrain from alcohol intake and performance of potentially dangerous types of the works demanding the high speed of reactions and special attention.

It is not necessary to accept at the same time other drugs exerting impact on the central nervous system.

Medicinal interaction

• Monoamine oxidase inhibitors: their action amplifies;
• Colestyraminum: paracetamol absorption speed decreases;
• Uricosuric means: their efficiency decreases;
• Ergotamine: absorption amplifies;
• Chloramphenicol: its removal is considerably slowed down (by 5 times);
• Indirect anticoagulants (warfarin and other coumarins): their action is exponentiated, the risk of bleedings increases;
• Ethanol: also the pankreotoksichnost amplifies gepato-;
• Inhibitors of a microsomal oxidation (for example, Cimetidinum): toxic action of Migrenol on a liver decreases;
• Inductors of a microsomal oxidation of a liver (tricyclic antidepressants, barbiturates, Phenytoinum, phenylbutazone, rifampicin, ethanol): heavy toxicity even is shown at insignificant overdose;
• Metoclopramidum, домперидон: paracetamol absorption amplifies.

Terms and storage conditions
