Oftalmoferon
Application instruction:
Oftalmoferon – antiviral medicine for topical administration in ophthalmology, possesses the antimicrobic, antiinflammatory, mestnoanesteziruyushchy, immunomodulatory, regenerating action.
Form of release and structure
Dosage form – drops eye (on 5 or 10 ml in polymeric bottles droppers, in a cardboard pack 1 bottle).
Content of active ingredients is 1 ml of drops:
- Interferon alpha 2a – 10 000 international units (IU);
- Difengidramin – 1 mg.
Indications to use
- Keratitis: adenoviral, herpetic (dot, vesicular, treelike, kartoobrazny);
- Conjunctivitis: enteroviral (hemorrhagic), herpetic, adenoviral;
- Stromal herpetic keratitis with expression of a cornea or without it;
- Herpetic uveitis;
- Keratouveit herpetic genesis with expression and without it;
- Keratoconjunctivites of an adenoviral and herpetic etiology.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to drug components.
Route of administration and dosage
Oftalmoferon apply by drop introduction to a conjunctival sac of each eye.
The recommended dosing: at an acute stage of a disease – on 1-2 drops of 6-8 times a day, then in process of decrease in inflammatory process drug is dug in by 2-3 times a day before total disappearance of symptoms of a disease.
Side effects
Development of undesirable effects against the background of use of drug it is not established.
Special instructions
Treatment should be carried out with observance of rules of an asepsis and antiseptics, not to allow contact of a dropper with any objects.
