Reaferon-EU-Lipint

Reaferon-EU-Lipint – interferon, immunomodulatory drug of antiviral action.

Form of release and structure

Dosage form of drug: lyophilisate for receiving suspension for oral administration in the form of the porous weight or powder from white till yellow-white color, with possible full or partial peeling from a bottle surface with formation of tabletopodobny structure (in glass bottles, in a cardboard pack on 1 bottle; in strip planimetric packaging on 3 or 5 bottles, in a cardboard pack 1 or 2 packagings).

Contents of one bottle:

• Active agent: interferon alpha 2b human recombinant – on 250 thousand. International Units (IU), 500 thousand ME or 1 million ME;
• Additional components: hydrophosphate sodium dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, dihydrophosphate sodium dihydrate, cholesterol, lactose, lecithin or липоид C100, tocopherol (vitamin E).

Indications to use

Reaferon-EU-Lipint is recommended for use as a part of a combination therapy at the following diseases:

• The chronic hepatitis B in active and inactive replicative forms and also complicated by a glomerulonephritis;
• Acute hepatitis of B;
• Allergic rinokonjyunktivit, atopic diseases, bronchial asthma when carrying out a specific immunotherapy;
• Urogenital chlamydial infection at adults.

Also drug is shown for prevention and treatment of the acute respiratory diseases (ARD) and flu at children and adults.

Contraindications

• Pregnancy;
• Serious allergic illness.

Route of administration and dosage

Drug is accepted inside, just before inclusion in a bottle with lyophilisate add the distilled or cooled boiled water of 1-2 ml, and vigorously stirred up within 1-5 minutes before formation of homogeneous suspension.

The recommended dosing mode at the following states:

• Acute hepatitis of B. In ^1/2 hours 7 years are up to food children more senior and appoint adult 2 times a day on 1 million ME within 10 days; children are 3-7 years old – 1 time a day on 500 thousand ME for 10 days and more, to an absolute recovery which is determined by results of carrying out control biochemical blood analyses;
• The chronic hepatitis B in active and inactive replicative forms and also associated with a glomerulonephritis. Recommend to accept 2 times a day in ^1/2 hours prior to food, within 10 days: to children 7 years and the adult – on 1 million ME are more senior, children are 3-7 years old – on 500 thousand ME, further for 1 month in the same dose – 1 time a day before going to bed, every other day;
• Specific immunotherapy for adults. Apply ^1/2 hours later after a breakfast: at an allergic rinokonjyunktivit – 1 time a day on 500 thousand ME within 10 days (the course dose makes 5 million ME); at atopic bronchial asthma – 1 time a day on 500 thousand ME within 10 days, then in the same dose every other day for 20 days (the general course – 30 days);
• Prevention of flu and ORZ. Use during rise in incidence twice a week within 30 days, in ^1/2 hours prior to food: to adults and teenagers 15 years – on 500 thousand ME are more senior, children are 3-15 years old – on 250 thousand ME;
• Therapy of flu and ORZ. Accept 2 times a day within 3 days: adults and teenagers are more senior than 15 years – on 500 thousand ME, children of 3-5 years – on 250 thousand ME;
• Complex therapy of urogenital infections. Recommend to adults 500 thousand ME twice a day, a course – 10 days.

Side effects

Use of Reaferon-EU-Lipint in the recommended doses does not cause emergence of undesirable effects. Nevertheless, considering that the recombinant interferon which is its part at parenteral administration leads to emergence of grippopodobny side reactions, it is required to show care at administration of drug to patients with hypersensitivity to interferon.

Information on overdose is absent.

Special instructions

It is not necessary to combine with the drugs oppressing the central nervous system and also with immunosuppressive means (including with glucocorticosteroids for system use).

During therapy ethanol reception is not recommended.

Medicinal interaction

Reaferon-EU-Lipint can strengthen myelotoxic, neurotoxic or cardiotoxic action of the means accepted earlier or along with it.

Interferon alpha 2b is capable to reduce activity of isoenzymes of P450 cytochrome and to influence as a result metabolism of such drugs as Dipiridamolum, Cimetidinum, Phenytoinum, theophylline, propranolol, warfarin, diazepam, and also some tsitostatik.

Terms and storage conditions

To store at a temperature which is not exceeding 8 °C in the place protected from light unavailable to children.

Period of validity – 1 year.
