Saytotek – the drug which is applied to treatment of gastrointestinal diseases.

Pharmacological action

Saytotek stimulates inflow of blood to mucous, process of development of a hydrocarbonate and protective slime, promotes healing of ulcers and erosion in a GIT.

There are reviews of Saytoteka as about the prophylactic capable to prevent emergence of erosive defeats on mucous a GIT.

It is established also that drug oppresses stimulated and night production of hydrochloric acid in a stomach, increases force and frequency of reduction of intestinal muscles. Effect of drug begins in half an hour after reception, 3-6 more hours last.

Active ingredient of Saytotek – мизопростол.

Indications to use

Saytotek according to the instruction appoint for prevention and treatment of erosion and a peptic ulcer of a GIT.

As мизопростол causes reductions of a myometrium, use Saytotek for abortion. Use according to this indication drug in combination with antigestageny mifepristone, under control of the gynecologist.

Route of administration

Saytotek at ulcers and erosion of a GIT accept 600-800 mkg a day in three or four receptions. Use of 800 mkg in two steps is in certain cases allowed, and the last reception surely should be done before going to bed. Treatment according to these indications lasts 1-2 months then carry out control endoscopy for confirmation of the beginning of remission.

The patients having a renal failure or hypersensitivity to a mizoprostol are recommended to accept only 100 mkg of Saytotek.

It becomes frequent the reason of development of cankers of a GIT reception of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. In this case during treatment by not steroids Saytotek for prevention is recommended to accept: 400-800 mkg in 2-4 receptions. Prevention lasts as much how many and treatment by not steroids.

For abortion Saytotek use at the third stage of medicamentous abortion. At the first stage the woman undergoes inspection, on the second under control of the doctor accepts in 600 mg of Mifegin (active ingredient of drug – mifepristone). At the third stage of medicamentous abortion the woman in 36-48 hours needs to visit the gynecologist again and under his control to accept 400 mg of Saytotek. In most cases fetal egg leaves soon after reception of tablets, is more rare – in several days. One or two weeks after abortion go scanty bloody allocations from a vagina.

Not later, than in 7-10 days after reception of tablets Mifegin the woman should undergo control ultrasonography for confirmation of successful performing medicamentous abortion.

Judging by reviews of Saytoteka, the periods after use of drug for abortion come in 28-32 days.

Side effects of Saytotek

Saytotek can cause a meteorism, vomiting, abdominal pains, nausea, diarrhea or a lock, the painful or long and plentiful periods, bleedings from a uterus which are not connected with a menstrual cycle.

There are reviews of Saytoteka, causing an adynamy, spasms, rash on skin, change of weight, increased fatigue.

At overdose drowsiness, a tremor, an asthma, block, diarrhea, pressure decrease, fever, bradycardia, heartbeat can be observed. Treatment is carried out in this case symptomatic, the hemodialysis is considered inefficient.

At Mifegin and Saytotek's use for abortion the woman can feel nagging pains in a bottom of a stomach and colicy pains at an exit of fetal egg. Cases when under the influence of drugs at women the uterus was broken off are known, uterine bleeding opened.

Contraindications

Saytotek according to the instruction is contraindicated to children up to 18 years, to patients with the expressed hypersensitivity to a mizoprostol, pregnant women, the feeding women.

Under observation it is recommended to accept drug at coronary heart disease, the lowered pressure, atherosclerosis of vessels of a brain, diarrhea, a coloenteritis, epilepsy, disturbance of blood circulation of a brain, a koronarokardioskleroza.

Saytotek for abortion independently in house conditions because of danger of discovery of bleeding and a lethal outcome is strictly forbidden to use.
