Axon reflex

Axon reflex (axon-reflexus; Greek axon – an axis + lat. reflexus – reflected, turned) – a reflex which is carried out on axon branchings without participation of a neurocyton. Sometimes functional linkages of vessels and internals are carried out with the help the Axon reflex, to a certain extent, irrespective of the central nervous system.
