Alpha-fetoproteins

Alpha-fetoproteins (synonym: embryonal serum globulins) – the globulins synthesized by cells of an embryonal liver which are in embryo blood. Alpha-fetoproteins in blood serum are found in the adult at a teratoblastoma of an ovary and a small egg, hepatocellular cancer of a liver and some other tumors.
