Angiostrongilidoz

Angiostrongilidoz (angiostrongylidosis) – the helminthosis from group of nematodoses caused by the larval stage of Angiostrongylus cantonensis parasitizing in a brain. Infection happens because of consumption of crude shrimps and mollusks; meets in Oceania and Southeast Asia. Angiostrongilidoz is characterized by development of an encephalomeningitis.
