Drum ladder

Drum ladder (scala tympani – definition in system of anatomic terms: PNA (The anatomic nomenclature Parisian), BNA (The anatomic nomenclature Basel), JNA (The anatomic nomenclature Yenskaya)) – the lower site of hollow space in the spiral channel of a snail (an acoustical part of an inner ear) which is opening a window of a snail in a drum cavity and reported through an opening of a snail (helicotrema) with a ladder of a threshold of its dome; it is filled with a perilympha.
