Biochemiluminescence

Biochemiluminescence (English biochemical – biochemical; Greek bios – life, belonging to life, to vital processes + Greek chymeia, from chymos – juice + lat. lumen (luminis) – light + escentia – the suffix designating weak action) – the luminescence of live organisms or their separate fabrics and bodies (including invisible with the naked eye) appearing thanks to energy of the biochemical reactions happening in them; the phenomenon of biochemiluminescence is applied at assessment of degree of suitability of tinned fabrics and bodies, the damaging action of many toxic and adverse factors and so on.
