Gamartoma
Gamartoma (hamartoma; Greek hamartia – an error, a shortcoming + Greek Uma – оконч. in the name of tumors; synonym: a progonoblastoma) – tumorous nodal education which arises because of disturbances of embryonic development of fabrics and bodies; consists of the same components, as the body where it is, however differs in their degree of a differentiation and the wrong arrangement.
Allocate:
- Gamartoma fibrous (hamartia fibrosum) – develops from fibrous fabric; it is localized in deep layers of hypodermic cellulose of newborns; is a kind of a focal fibromatosis;
- Gamartoma hondromatozny (hamartia chondromatosum; synonym: the chondroma ectopic) – develops as the node of cartilaginous tissue localized, for example, in peripheral department of a lung.
