Gamma device
Gamma device (synonyms: installation is teletherapeutic, the device teletherapeutic, the telegamma-device, a gamma-ray irradiation plant, a gamma irradiator) – the device used to radiation therapy or experimental action by ionizing radiation which basic element represents the gamma radiation source placed in the lead container equipped with collimation system.
Allocate the gamma device:
- Remote – intended for tele-irradiation;
- Hose – intended for intracavitary radiation, equipped with a flexible hose on which radio isotope sources move from the provision of contents in a protective container in the provision of radiation and back.
