Valsalva dysphagy

Valsalva dysphagy (dysphagia Valsalvae; And. M. Valsalva, Italian anatomist and surgeon, 1666-1723; dysphagia, Greek dys – the prefix meaning frustration, difficulty, disturbance + phagein – to eat, swallow) – the swallowing difficulty caused by a fracture of a hypoglossal bone.

There are very curious medical syndromes, for example, persuasive swallowing objects. In a stomach of one patient suffering from this mania 2500 foreign objects were revealed.
