Vishnevsky tamponade

Vishnevsky a tamponade (A. V. Vishnevsky, the Soviet surgeon, 1874-1948) – a way of surgical elimination of residual pleural cavities at an empyema by means of their filling with the gauze tampons impregnated with Vishnevsky's ointment.
