sleeplessness;
pain syndrome (in complex therapy with analgetics);

children's age up to three years;

pheochromocytoma;

Truxal route of administration

The recommended Truxal doses according to the instruction following:

psychoses (including maniacal states and schizophrenia). Medical therapy is begun with 50-100 mg of drug a day, gradually increasing a daily dose to 300 mg. The daily dose of Truxal according to the instruction is recommended to be divided into several receptions, the most part of a daily dose is appointed in the evening, and a smaller part – in day;
abstinence syndrome. The daily dose makes 450-500 mg. The course of treatment usually lasts about a week;
hyperactivity, irritability, confusion of consciousness, the excited state at people of old age – 15-90 mg of drug per day;
depressions, neurosises, psychosomatic disturbances, sleeplessness. Truxal according to the instruction is recommended to accept before going to bed. Single dose about 30 mg;
pains of various genesis. Drug in doses from 15 to 300 mg is used in complex therapy with analgetics;
to children the medicine is appointed in a daily dose of 0,5-2 mg/kg of body weight;
epilepsy, oligophrenia. The daily dose of medicine makes 100-125 mg.

Anticonvulsants in a maintenance dose are in parallel appointed.

Side effect

Reviews of Truxal demonstrate that in an initiation of treatment drug can cause dizziness, Таблетки Труксал (50 мг) muscular rigidity, dryness in a mouth, diarrhea or a lock, drowsiness, sweating strengthening, tachycardia, allergic reactions, increase or a loss of appetite.
