Tykveol

Tykveol – vegetable drug with cholagogue, hepatoprotective, antiinflammatory and antioxidant action.

Form of release and structure

Tykveol release in the following dosage forms:

• Capsules: gelatinous soft, oval, with a longitudinal seam (on 20, 30, 50, 84, 90 or 180 pieces in polymeric banks, after 1 bank in a cardboard pack; on 10 or 20 pieces in blister strip packagings, on 1 packaging in a cardboard pack);
• Oil for intake: oily liquid from red-brown till olive-brown color with a characteristic smell, existence of a deposit is possible (on 100 ml in dark glass bottles, on 20 ml in plastic bottles droppers, on 1 bottle or a bottle dropper in a cardboard pack);
• Suppositories rectal: from dark green till light green color, cylindrical, with the rounded-off or pointed end (on 5 pieces in blister strip packagings, on 2 packagings in a cardboard pack).

Active agent is a part of 1 capsule: oil of seeds of pumpkin – 450 mg.

The structure of 1 bottle or bottle dropper of oil for intake includes active agent: oil of seeds of pumpkin – 100%.

Is a part of 1 suppository:

• Active agent: oil of seeds of pumpkin – 500 mg;
• Auxiliary component: cocoa butter.

Indications to use

Inside Tykveol in the form of capsules and oil appoint for treatment of the following diseases:

• Cirrhosis;
• Fatty degeneration of a liver;
• Chronic and infectious hepatitis;
• Toxic damages of a liver (industrial poisons, medicines, alcohol);
• Cholestasia;
• Cholecystitis (not calculous);
• Dyskinesia of biliary tract;
• Colitis, coloenteritis (noninfectious etiology);
• Gastritis;
• Atherosclerosis;
• Hemorrhoids;
• Benign hyperplasia of a prostate;
• Prostatitis.

Rektalno Tykveol in the form of suppositories apply at treatment of chronic prostatitis and benign hyperplasia of a prostate of the I-II stage which is followed by prostatitis.

Oil Tykveol is applied locally and outwardly at an erosion of a neck of uterus, herpes, psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, a burn disease and burns, an endocervicitis, a colpitis and diseases of a parodont.

Contraindications

Tykveol it is contraindicated to apply with hypersensitivity to drug components.

Data on safety and efficiency of use of Tykveol by the feeding and pregnant women, and also children are absent.

Route of administration and dosage

Inside Tykveol depending on a form of release it is possible to accept on one their schemes:

• 3-4 times a day on 1 teaspoon of oil for half an hour to food for 1-3 months;
• 3 times a day on 4 capsules in time or after meal.

At topical and external use affected areas grease 2-3 times a day.

At prostatitis and hemorrhoids 2 times a day appoint microclysters (along with oral administration).

In gynecologic practice use the vaginal tampons impregnated with 10 ml of oil.

At periodontosis Tykveol apply in the form of local applications.

Suppositories rectal, previously moistened with water, it is necessary to enter into a rectum. A single dose – 1 suppository, frequency rate of use – 1-3 times a day. Duration of a therapeutic course can vary from 10 days to 3 months. Also for 6 months carrying out cycles of short courses for 10-15 days is possible.

Side effects

During therapy development of the disturbances from the alimentary system which are shown in the form of dyspepsia and diarrhea is in rare instances possible.

Also at Tykveol's use there can be allergic reactions.

Special instructions

Tykveol it is possible to apply in the form of monotherapy or along with other medicines. Drug can be combined with any foodstuff.

At development of side effects it is necessary to lower Tykveol's dose.

At degenerative and inflammatory processes of a mucous membrane of upper parts of digestive tract Tykveol is inside more preferable to accept in the form of oil (administration of drug in the form of capsules is not recommended).

Medicinal interaction

Clinically significant interactions of Tykveol in any dosage form with other drugs it was not established.

Terms and storage conditions

To store in protected from light, the place, dry, unavailable to children, at a temperature:

• Capsules and oil for intake – to 25 °C;
• Suppositories rectal – to 5 °C.

Period of validity – 2 years.
