Acesolum
Application instruction:
Acesolum – the combined salt drug used for recovery of water and electrolytic balance at intoxication and dehydration.
Form of release and structure
The drug Acesolum is produced in the form of solution for infusions (on 200 and 400 ml in bottles for blood substitutes (for infusions) and in glass bottles (for injections)).
1 l of solution contains:
- Potassium chloride – 1 g;
- Sodium chloride – 5 g;
- Sodium acetate – 2 g.
Indications to use
Active agents of drug render plasma substituting, antishock, disintoxication, diuretic, regidratiruyushchy and antiagregantny action. Drug interferes with a pachemia, prevents development of a metabolic acidosis, improves microcirculation, reduces a hypovolemia and strengthens a diuresis.
Drug is used at the following states:
- Dehydration;
- Different types of intoxication (including food toxicoinfection), dysentery, cholera El-Tor.
Contraindications
- Chronic renal failure;
- Alkalosis;
- Existence of contraindications to introduction to an organism of a large amount of liquid;
- Hypersensitivity to one of solution components;
- Hyperpotassemia.
Route of administration and dosage
Apply at heavy and medium-weight degree of a state. In cases of a severe disease Acesolum is entered intravenously struyno within 1-3 hours, or within 1 hour, with the subsequent transition to drop introduction with a speed of 50-120 of caps/mines for 24-48 hours. The volume of saline solution, necessary for treatment, is selected individually depending on the course of a disease in quantity, necessary for recovery of water and electrolytic balance.
At easy abnormal liver functions correction of a dose of drug is not required.
Side effects
Depending on a look and the course of a disease Acesolum can cause the following undesirable effects:
- Tachycardia;
- Hyperpotassemia;
- Fever;
- Hypostases.
At development of a hyperpotassemia during treatment by drug, Acesolum should be replaced with solution Disol and to recover normal electrolytic balance.
Special instructions
Before use solution needs to be warmed up to body temperature.
During treatment it is necessary to control a hematocrit and concentration of electrolytes of blood.
Drug freezing by a contraindication to its use is not.
Acesolum can be applied during pregnancy and feeding by a breast.

- On the action mechanism: Trisol, Ringer, Reamberin, Laktasol, Trisamin, Yonosteril, Disol, Mafusol, Kvintasol, Addamel of N, Trometamol of N, Ringer lactate, Hartman solution.
