Anaesthesin – drug with analgeziruyushchy action.

Form of release and structure

Anaesthesin is produced in the following forms:

  • Tablets on 0,3 g (on 10 pieces in blisters);
  • Ointment for external use of 5%, 10% (on the basis of anaesthesin).

Indications to use

The anesthetizing effect of Anaesthesin is caused by properties of its active agent – the benzocaine interfering emergence and carrying out on nerve fibrils of painful impulses.

Inside Anaesthesin is appointed against the background of the following diseases:

  • Gastralgia;
  • Esophagitis;
  • Peptic ulcer of a stomach and 12-perstny gut.

External use of Anaesthesin is shown at a dentagra, the gum pain, average otitis which are followed by an itch skin diseases, pain in the field of outside acoustical pass, a miositis, a small tortoiseshell, perianal cracks, diseases of superficial veins.

Anaesthesin is applied when performing various diagnostic manipulations on mucous membranes – gastroscopies, rektoskopiya, otoskopiya, uretroskopiya, gynecologic procedures.

Sometimes Anaesthesin is appointed at vomiting of pregnant women and primary vomiting.

Contraindications

Anaesthesin is not applied at hypersensitivity to the benzocaine or auxiliary components which are a part of drug.

It is necessary to be careful at medicine use to children 2 years and to the feeding women are younger.

Route of administration and dosage

Inside Anaesthesin is appointed on 1 tablet to 4 times a day.

The maximum one-time dosage – 0,5 g, in days it is possible to accept no more than 1,5 g of a medicine.

Outwardly ointment is applied a thin layer on an affected area by 2-3 times a day.

Side effects

Use of Anaesthesin causes side effects only in some cases, most often they are shown in the form of allergic reactions and contact dermatitis.

Special instructions

At exceeding of dosages most likely development of cyanosis, asthma and dizziness. As a rule, in this case carry out a symptomatic treatment and intravenous administration of methylene blue.

During performing therapy it is necessary to consider that effect of Anaesthesin is strengthened by inhibitors of cholinesterase and non-narcotic analgesics.

Terms and storage conditions

Anaesthesin is released on doctor's orders.

Period of validity of tablets – 5 years on condition of their storage with observance of recommendations of the producer (at a temperature up to 25 °C).
