Atoris
Application instruction:
Atoris – the hypolipidemic drug from group of statines possessing anti-atherosclerotic action and finding a hemodynamics.
Form of release and structure
Medicine is produced in the form of tablets a dosage of 10, 20, 30, 40, 60 and 80 mg.
Active component of drug – аторвастатин.
Indications to use
- Primary hypercholesterolemia;
- The combined lipidemia;
- Disbetalipoproteinemiya;
- Endogenous family gipertriglitseridemiya;
- Family homozygous hypercholesterolemia;
- Prevention of diseases of cardiovascular system.
Contraindications
- Pregnancy;
- Lactation;
- The age is younger than 18 years;
- Liver diseases (chronic hepatitis in an active stage, cirrhosis, a liver failure);
- Diseases of skeletal muscles;
- Lactose intolerance, deficit of lactase, galactose/glucose sprue;
- Hypersensitivity to medicine components.
With care it is necessary to appoint Atoris at liver diseases in the anamnesis and alcohol addiction.
Route of administration and dosage
Drug is accepted orally at the same time irrespective of meals.
Before the beginning and during a course of treatment it is necessary to keep to a diet with the limited maintenance of lipids.
Atoris is not applied in pediatrics, to adult patients appoint 10 mg of 1 times a day within 4 weeks. If the therapeutic effect after an initial course is not observed, on the basis of data of a lipidogramma the daily dose is increased to 20-80 mg a day.
Side effects
Atoris's use can cause a number of by-effects:
- From system of digestion: disturbance of a chair, nausea, appetite loss, pancreatitis, bile outflow disturbance, vomiting, hepatitis, pains in epigastric area, a meteorism;
- From a nervous system: dizziness, paresthesia, disturbance of the mode of wakefulness and dream, peripheral neuropathy, headache;
- From a musculoskeletal system: spasms, muscular weakness, myopathy, muscle pains, miositis;
- From cardiovascular system: arrhythmia, heartbeat, phlebitis, vazodilatation, increase in the ABP;
- Allergic reactions: an alopecia, urticaria, an itch, rash on integuments, a Quincke's edema.
Special instructions
During a course of treatment it is necessary to watch function of a liver.
At emergence of pains in muscles it is necessary to address the treating specialist.
Use of drug demands respect for care at management of transport and work with difficult mechanisms.
