Application instruction:
Berlition – the drug regulating a metabolism.
Form of release and structure
Medicine is produced in the following dosage forms:
- Concentrate for preparation of solution for infusions: chartreuse color, transparent (Berlition 300: on 12 ml in dark glass ampoules, on 5, 10 or 20 ampoules in cardboard trays, on 1 tray in a pack cardboard; Berlition 600: on 24 ml in dark glass ampoules, on 5 ampoules in plastic pallets, on 1 pallet in a cardboard pack);
- Tablets, film coated: a round form, biconvex, on one party – risk, color pale yellow, on cross section the granular uneven surface is visible (on 10 pieces in blisters, on 3,6,10 blisters in a cardboard pack).
The main operating component – thioctic acid:
- In 1 ampoule of a concentrate – 300 mg or 600 mg;
- In 1 tablet – 300 mg.
Indications to use
Berlition apply to treatment of an alcoholic and diabetic polyneuropathy.
Contraindications
Berlition's use is contraindicated to children up to 18 years, to women during pregnancy and a lactation, and also to patients at whom hypersensitivity to drug components is observed.
With care medicine is appointed a sick diabetes mellitus.
Route of administration and dosage
Berlition take usually 1 time a day, in the morning, for half an hour till a breakfast. Tablets cannot be chewed and crushed. The daily dose for adults makes 600 mg (2 tablets).
Drug in the form of a concentrate, divorced 0,9% chloride sodium solution, enter kapelno 250 ml within half an hour. A daily dose for adult patients – 300-600 mg. Administration of medicine is intravenously carried out usually 2-4 weeks then the patient is transferred to administration of drug orally.
Side effects
Berlition's use can cause a number of side effects, such as: disturbance of a chair, change of flavoring feelings, nausea and vomiting, dispeptic phenomena, spasms, headache, tachycardia, thorax pain, various allergic reactions, vision disorder.
Special instructions
For the period of passing of a course of treatment it is necessary to refuse the use of alkogolsoderzhashchy drinks as ethanol reduces efficiency of thioctic acid.
The patients suffering from a diabetes mellitus need to watch constantly glucose level in blood.
To use dairy products, and also to accept drugs of magnesium and iron during treatment follows in the second half of day.
At joint administration of drug with peroral hypoglycemic means and insulin action of the last amplifies.

Conditions and periods of storage
To store at a temperature not above 25 °C.
Period of validity: tablets – 2 years, a concentrate – 3 years. The prepared solution of drug needs to be protected from impact of a sunlight and to store no more than 6 hours.
