Pheresolum – medicine with the mummifying and cauterizing action.

Structure and form of release of Pheresolum

Produce the solution intended for external use. In 100 g of solution the following active components contain:

• Tricresolum of 40 g;
• Phenol of 60 g.

In bottles from dark glass on 100 g, complete with the applicator.

Instead of the laid-off drug Pheresolum its improved formula - the drug Verrukatsid® which in CJSC Retinoidy was purified from орто is issued today - and paracresols, having kept only the main effective agent - metacresol. As a result drug became more active, and it needs to be applied to achievement of the same effect in smaller doses, so - it is less toxic. Indications to use of Pheresolum

Pheresolum according to the instruction is shown in the following cases:

• papillomas;
• dry callosities;
• bottom, threadlike and usual warts;
• keratomas;
• sharp-pointed condylomas.

Contraindications

Pheresolum is contraindicated for removal of birthmarks, at hypersensitivity and at children's age up to seven years.

It is forbidden to apply solution on the surface of skin more than 20 quarter see, and also on the rashes located on mucous membranes and a red border of lips.

Route of administration of Pheresolum and mode of dosing

According to the instruction Pheresolum is intended only for external use. Apply drug or an analog of Pheresolum on the damaged site of skin by means of the applicator, without allowing its hit on healthy neighboring sites, and also mucous membranes.

On threadlike warts and small papillomas (to 2 mm in a size) Pheresolum is applied once.

On small warts and larger papillomas (2-3 mm in a size) drug is applied by three-four times, doing a break for drying of the applied solution.

Before deleting by means of solution bottom warts, warts with a dense keratosic surface on brushes, dry callosities, keratomas, it is necessary to remove all horn stratifications from their surface. For this purpose it is necessary to apply at several o'clock on them keratolichesky ointment, for example, of salicylic 10%. After that the greased site becomes covered by a polyethylene film or compresseal paper, and the gauze bandage from above becomes. It is possible to stick the site with an adhesive plaster.

After removal of a bandage or an adhesive plaster skin needs to be steamed out in hot water with soap and soda for ten minutes and to remove all horn stratifications (to cut off by means of nippers or cuticle scissors). After skin will dry up, it is necessary to put Pheresolum several times at an interval of 4-5 minutes for drying.

To avoid a burn of the surrounding site of skin at repeated use of drug or an analog of Pheresolum, it will be reasonable to grease it with zinc paste. After drying of the last applied solution layer zinc paste can be removed by means of a dry gauze tampon.

It is not recommended to delete sharp-pointed condylomas independently. Their processing by Pheresolum and the subsequent removal are carried out in a room for medical procedures by the urologist or the dermatovenerologist. One-two bucketed times for solution drying apply in this case drug.

If necessary repeated processing can be carried out after a week break. Holding four-five procedures is allowed.

Side effects of Pheresolum

Pheresolum according to reviews can cause allergic reactions, erubescence in eyes and hypostases which, as a rule, pass independently.

Medicinal interaction

It is not recommended to grease the site of skin processed by Pheresolum, any ointments as components of drug are quickly dissolved in an ointment basis.

Use of Pheresolum during pregnancy and breastfeeding

During pregnancy it is necessary to consider advantage and risk for mother and a fruit at solution use.

In the period of a lactation it is forbidden to delete the educations located on hands and mammary glands.

Storage conditions

Drug should be stored in densely closed bottle at a cool temperature not longer than five years.

Special instructions

It is necessary to avoid hit of solution on mucous membranes, in particular on mucous membranes of eyes. In case of hit it is necessary to wash out the site a large amount of water and to address to hospital.

Bandaging of the sites processed by solution or sticking up by their adhesive plaster is forbidden. According to reviews Pheresolum is not recommended to be put repeatedly before drying of the previous layer.

It is not recommended to apply solution on the educations located on strongly sweating sites and skin folds (interdigital intervals, proctal area and inguinal folds) as it can cause burns of the unimpaired skin as a result of contact.
