Finalgel
Application instruction:
Finalgel – drug from group of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs used outwardly. 
Active ingredient – piroxicam is a part of drug. Drug has analgeziruyushchy effect, removes hypostasis, an inflammation, and also reduces aggregation of thrombocytes. Thanks to high performance of this drug reviews of Finalgel positive.
The mechanism of action of Finalgel consists in decrease in formation of mediators of an inflammation (derivatives of arachidonic acid), collagen (stimulates aggregation of thrombocytes), decrease in production of lysosomic enzymes.
After single drawing Finalgel under a bandage in number of 20 mg of 0,5% of gel the maximum plasma concentration is reached in 26 hours. At cutaneous use 6-62% of active ingredient are absorbed. Finalgel elimination half-life – 46 hours.
Indications to Finalgel's use
In the instruction to Finalgel the following indications are specified:
- inflammatory and degenerative pathology of joints, bone, copular device (ankylosing spondylitis, bursitis, arthritis, osteoarthrosis, YuRA, humeroscapular periarthritis, tendovaginitis, rhematoid polyarthritis, tendinitis);
- overstrain, muscle strain, sheaves;
- the closed musculoskeletal system injuries which are followed by a swelling, pain;
- sports injury;
- dislocations;
- bruises.
Contraindications to Finalgel's use
According to the instruction to Finalgel, contraindications to its use are:
- individual intolerance of piroxicam;
- allergic reaction to other NPVS in the anamnesis;
- renal failure;
- age up to 14 years.
Finalgel with care it is necessary to apply at allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, recurrent a polypose of a nose, adnexal bosoms, HZL, persistent pulmonary infections.
Finalgel route of administration
Finalgel is used locally. Gel in a small amount (1 g of active ingredient – an average dosage - contains in gel volume about hazelnut) should be rubbed slowly to the struck area. To repeat 3-4 times a day. Duration of therapy depends on a specific clinical case, expressiveness of symptomatology, averages two – four weeks. For absorption improvement gel can be applied under a bandage. Not to apply drug on the injured skin and open wounds.
Side effect

Use at Finalgel's pregnancy
Finalgel's use 
and analogs in І - ІІ trimesters of pregnancy is contraindicated. With care it is necessary to appoint Finalgel in the period of a lactation as drug gets into breast milk.

Overdose
When using the dosages which are most exceeding admissible emergence of a headache, nausea, symptoms of damage of a GIT was noted. In extremely exceptional cases development of intersticial nephrite with a functional renal failure and a nephrotic syndrome is possible.
