Many cannot refuse bread in the diet, without it any dishes seem to them tasteless and insufficiently nourishing. In the Grain diet it is possible to leave extra kilos without refusing bread.

The majority of diets for weight loss completely exclude bread from the diet or minimize its consumption. The diet of the Grain diet, on the contrary, contains bread as a key product. It seems to much illogical, it is considered that dietary food and bread – things incompatible. However in the Grain diet only whole-grain bread which not only has rather low caloric content is used, but also it is useful to an organism: it contains a lot of cellulose, vitamins of group B, micro and macrocells.

It is not necessary to use fresh bread as it can cause abdominal distention and other unpleasant symptoms for a diet. Bread of yesterday's or day before yesterday pastries is optimum.

Rules of the Grain diet:

  • Food has to be fractional, i.e. small portions of 5-6 times a day;
  • It is impossible to miss meals;
  • In breaks between food it is necessary to drink pure still water, total quantity of water has to make 1,5-2 l a day;
  • Women have to eat in day of 8-12 pieces of bread, the man – 12-16 pieces. It is sometimes allowed to replace two pieces of whole-grain bread with one piece of rye;
  • Every day it is necessary to eat a portion of fruit of the size of a fist (the handful is fresher than some strawberry or currants, one apple, a pear or three plums).

The grain diet consists of two stages:

  1. The main – 2 weeks;
  2. Fixing of result – duration is individual, on average 1-2 weeks.

Advantages

In two weeks of the Grain diet it is possible to get rid of 4-6 kg of excess weight, and in two weeks of fixing of result of 2-3 kg.

On a diet there is no feeling of hunger, the menu rather nourishing.

The grain diet promotes purgation, at the expense of measured meal and the balanced menu the organism is revitalized.

Shortcomings and contraindications

The grain diet is contraindicated at diseases of the alimentary system.

At any chronic pathology the diet should not be begun without consultation with the attending physician.

What products are resolved?

  • Whole-grain bread of yesterday's pastries;
  • Not starchy vegetables: cabbage, vegetable marrows, cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, paprika, siliculose haricot, green peas;
  • Fruit and berries: pears, apples, water-melon, apricot, plums, strawberry, currant;
  • Low-fat cottage cheese and natural yogurt;
  • Eggs;
  • Fast meat, chicken fillet, low-fat grades of fish;
  • Vegetable oil for seasoning of salads;
  • Green tea.

Salt is admissible in a small amount.

At the second stage of a diet some eases are allowed. So, two pieces of whole-grain bread can be replaced with a small portion of macaroni from firm grades of wheat, oat, buckwheat, millet cereal or brown rice, boiled haricot or lentil or two crackers. Also it is possible to add baked potatoes and boiled corn to a diet (1 potato or 1 ear of corn a day). The quantity of portions of fruit can be increased to three in days.

What products are prohibited?

All products which did not enter the list resolved are prohibited, including:

  • All types of pastries except whole-grain bread;
  • Sugar and any confectionery;
  • Smoked, salty, preserved foods, marinades and sauces;
  • Alcoholic and sweet carbonated drinks.

Menu

The approximate menu for one day of the first stage of the Grain diet:

First breakfast

30 g (3 slices) of bread with namazky of the cottage cheese powdered with fresh melkonarezanny greens of parsley and fennel, green tea.

Second breakfast

2 slices of bread with thinly sliced cheese, 100 g of salad from carrots and cabbage.

Lunch

2 slices of bread, 200 g of the fish baked with vegetables, green tea.

Afternoon snack

150 g of salad from a peach, a pear and apple.

Early dinner

3 slices of bread with a thin strip of avocado, 150 g of the salad from tomato and cucumbers filled with olive oil.

Supper

200 ml of yogurt with pieces of fresh fruit or greens.

The approximate menu for one day of the second stage of the Grain diet:

First breakfast

200 g of muesli with milk, green tea.

Second breakfast

2 slices of bread smeared with a thin layer of cottage cheese with greens, 100 g of vegetable salad.

Lunch

2 slices of bread, 200 g of braised beef with vegetables, 1 pear, green tea.

Lunch

2 peaches.

First dinner

3 slices of bread with a thin strip of fish, 150 g of vegetable salad, filled with olive oil.

Second dinner

200 ml of yogurt with a cracker.

Useful tips

Council 1: It is not necessary to use fresh bread as it can cause abdominal distention and other unpleasant symptoms for a diet. Bread of yesterday's or day before yesterday pastries is optimum.

Council 2: It is recommended to add a diet with an exercise stress, at the same time it is desirable that it was daily, but not exhausting.
