Infezol 40

Infezol 40 – medicine for parenteral food in the form of solution of electrolytes and amino acids.

Form of release and structure

Dosage form – solution for infusions: almost colourless or with a yellow shade transparent liquid, has a specific smell (on 100, 250 or 500 ml in transparent glass bottles, in a cardboard box of 10 bottles).

Content of active components is 1000 ml of solution:

• Glycine – 7 g;
• L-glutaminic acid – 5 g;
• L-arginine – 4,55 g;
• L-alanine – 4 g;
• L-phenylalanine – 3,15 g;
• L-leucine – 2,75 g;
• L-lysine a hydrochloride – 2,5 g, including a L-lysine – 2 g;
• L-izoleytsin – 2,1 g;
• L-aspartic acid – 2 g;
• L-valine – 2,25 g;
• L-methionine – 1,75 g;
• L-threonine – 1,6 g;
• L-histidine – 1,35 g;
• L-tryptophane – 0,5 g;
• Ksilitol – 50 g;
• Acetate sodium trihydrate – 3,4 g, including acetate sodium – 2,05 g;
• Potassium chloride – 1,86 g;
• Sodium hydroxide – 0,6 g;
• Chloride magnesium hexahydrate – 0,51 g, including magnesium chloride – 0,24 g.

The general content of nitrogen – 6,3 g/l, amino acids – 40 g/l.

Theoretical osmolarity – 801,8 ¼Äß¼«½ý/l, energy value of solution – 1551 kJ/l.

Excipients: water for injections, sodium metabisulphite.

Indications to use

• Parenteral food;
• Prevention and treatment of the proteinaceous deficit which arose against the background of an excessive expense and the increased requirement or as a result of disturbance of exchange processes in an organism of various genesis;
• Completion of loss of liquid at surgeries, burns, bleedings.

Contraindications

• Dekompensirovanny heart failure;
• Severe damages of a liver;
• The assumed or established heavy degree of a renal failure (the clearance of creatinine is less than 30 µmol/l);
• Fenilketonuriya and other disturbances in exchange of amino acids;
• Severe form of a craniocereberal injury;
• Metabolic acidosis;
• Intoxication methanol;
• Shock;
• Acute fluid lungs;
• Bronchial asthma;
• Hyperpotassemia;
• Hypoxia;
• Patholologically high content in a blood plasma of the electrolytes entering this solution;
• Overhydratation;
• Age up to 2 years;
• Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Route of administration and dosage

Drug is intended for intravenous drop slow administration, at constant control of a condition of the patient.

Purpose of dosing is made by the doctor on the basis of clinical indications, taking into account a condition of the patient and his need for liquid, amino acids and electrolytes. The recommended daily dosing:

• Adults: from 0,6 g to 1,0 g of amino acids or from calculation to 25 ml of solution on 1 kg of weight of the patient a day. At states with dominance of a catabolism: from 1,3 g to 2,0 g of amino acids or to 50 ml on 1 kg of weight a day;
• Children from 2 to 18 years: from 1,0 g to 2,0 g of amino acids or to 50 ml of solution on 1 kg of weight a day.

In case of the increased need of an organism for calories and liquid appointment can be added with administration of glucose, solutions of electrolytes and other means.

Upon transition to partial peroral food the dose of parenteral administration of drug decreases in proportion to the number of the calories and liquid received by the patient orally.

At a high speed of infusion the patient can have a reaction of intolerance or occur renal loss of amino acids and disturbance of their balance.

The dose decides by the patient on a renal and liver failure individually.

Duration of use is appointed by the doctor, usually, before full transition on peroral or an enteroalimentation.

Side effects

Infezol's use 40 is well transferred by patients.

The headache, nausea, vomiting, fever, fever, in isolated cases – development of allergic reactions can become undesirable effects seldom or never.

Against the background of high rate of administering of drug there can be an irritation of walls of veins.

Special instructions

During Infezol's use 40 it is necessary to carry out regular monitoring of renal and hepatic laboratory indicators, level of content in blood serum of electrolytes, glucose, crude protein, a water balance and acid-base structure. Carefully use drug at patients with the increased osmolarity of blood serum.

At patients it is necessary to be careful with pathology of heart failure at introduction of high doses of solution. The metabisulphite which is a part of drug of sodium, very seldom, including at patients with bronchial asthma, can cause the hypersensitivity reactions which are followed by bad attacks of asthma, vomiting, discontinuous breath, diarrheas, consciousness disturbance, shock. The course of these reactions has individual character, but in some cases can pose a threat for the patient's life.

Metabisulphite sodium interaction reaction products with tryptophane, are capable to influence increase in activity of liver enzymes and concentration of bilirubin.

It is necessary to use bottle contents right after its opening.

Infezol's use 40 does not exert impact on ability of the patient to control of vehicles and mechanisms.

Medicinal interaction

At a drug combination to thiamin solution (B1 vitamin) there is a thiamin splitting.

It is impossible to mix solutions which contain amino acids, with other medicines because of a high risk of incompatibility and microbic contamination.

Terms and storage conditions

To store in the place protected from light at a temperature up to 25 °C, not to freeze. To protect from children.

Period of validity – 2 years.
