Klindatsin

Klindatsin — the antibiotic relating to group of linkozamid and active concerning a wide range of pathogenic microorganisms. The form of production of this drug predetermines its use especially by women.

Release form

Klindatsin is issued in two dosage forms: vaginal cream and vaginal suppositories (they are candles).

Cream represents the substance of the corresponding consistence, white with a subtle yellowish shade, placed in aluminum tubas on 20 or 40 g. In addition to the tube with medicine in secondary packaging also special applicators (respectively 3 or 7 depending on amount of cream in a tuba) for installation of cream invest in a vagina. Concentration of active ingredient (in its role clindamycin acts) makes 2%, i.e. 2 mg in 1 g. This dosage form is made by the oldest Russian pharmaceutical enterprise "Akrikhin".

Vulval candles have coloring, similar to cream, are packaged at the rate of 3 candles in one individual packaging. Content of clindamycin makes 100 mg on one candle. As Klindatsin's producer in the form of vaginal suppositories LLC Pharmaprim (Moldova) acts, and candles are packed up by the same domestic Quinacrine.

Klindatsin's analogs

Speaking about Klindatsin's analogs, it is necessary to mention his American "brother" at once: drug Dalatsin from "Pharmacy and Apdzhon Kampani". In addition to cream and suppositories Dalatsin is issued as well in the form of gel for external use. Let's list also other analogs of Klindatsin: the Polish Klindatop from "Elfy" (gel for external use), domestic Klindamitsin of production of CJSC Verteks (cream vaginal) and Hungarian Klindeks from well-known "Gideon of Richter" (external use cream). It should be noted that all above-mentioned medicines have same (cream, candles) or similar on structure (gel) a dosage form, as well as Klindatsin. If to proceed from the principle of equivalence pharmacological of active component, then in Klindatsin's analogs it is possible to write down also other dosage forms of clindamycin: these are original "pfayzerovsky" capsules of Dalatsin and Dalatsin's solution of phosphate (the manufacturing country — Belgium), and also solution and capsules of Clindamycin from Hemofarm (Serbia).

Pharmacological action

Clindamycin renders bacteriostatic (does not destroy, and slows down development) action though in high concentration also the bactericidal effect is possible. Getting into a bacterial cell, the antibiotic suppresses protein synthesis that does not allow a microorganism to raise and develop properly. The action spectrum of drug stretches with the broad range. Klindatsin is active concerning separate types of stafilokokk and streptococci. It is effective at the bacterial vaginoses caused gardnerelly, mobilunkusy, by bacteroids, a mycoplasma, some types of clostridiums. According to comments on Klindatsin of experts doctors, drug does not work on a trichomonad and Candida, and has cross stability with lincomycin.

Indications to use

The instruction to Klindatsin is laconic: medicine is used at the vagina dysbacteriosis (alternative names — a bacterial vaginosis or дисбиоз vaginas) caused by pathogens, sensitive to drug. For reference use: dysbacteriosis of a vagina develops at substitution of lactoflora of a vagina by aggressive associations of microbes.

According to comments on Klindatsin if a contagium are Clostridium sort bacteria, then it is necessary to conduct a bacteriological research of a biological test of the patient (crops of a smear on a medium) with definition of sensitivity of the sowed microflora to antibiotics.

Application instruction

Cream is entered into a vagina by means of the one-time applicator which was already mentioned above enclosed in packaging with medicine. This manipulation is in detail stated and illustrated in the instruction to Klindatsin. It does not represent any complexity: the applicator screws on on a tube neck, is filled with cream (it is necessary to press on a tube, but not to delay the applicator piston), and entered into a vagina as it is shown on the picture in the instruction. The applicator will help also with a drug dosing. The single dose of Klindatsin in the form of cream makes 100 mg, that is one completely filled applicator. It is the most convenient to make installation of medicinal cream in a vagina before going to bed. Duration of treatment makes from three to seven days.

Before introduction to a vagina, the candle is taken from planimetric packaging which needs to be scissored on a cell contour with a candle. Introduction has to be the deepest what the easiest to do in a prone position. Frequency of introduction and duration of treatment the same, as well as in a case with cream.

Contraindications

Negative comments on Klindatsin a little. (Very seldom) individual intolerance of clindamycin is noted (it is more probable with it and concerning lincomycin). Klindatsin do not recommend to accept in the first three months of pregnancy. Further, considering that the fact that clindamycin has property to get through a placenta into a fruit blood stream, Klindatsin's reception is justified only if the possible advantage of administration of drug exceeds potential risk. It is fair also concerning the feeding women. Comments on Klindatsin concerning its use for children were not noted, its efficiency and safety for them is not confirmed.

Side effect

Comments on Klindatsin speak about its good tolerance. In some cases are possible:

• allergic manifestations in the form of an itch, a small tortoiseshell, rash;
• from an urogenital path — a cervicitis (the inflammatory process localized in a neck of uterus), a colpitis (an inflammation mucous vaginas), irritation of external genitals;
• very seldom — an aberration of indicators of blood (a neutropenia, an agranulocytosis, an eosinophilia, thrombocytopenia).

Systemic action of drug (as, actually, and Klindatsin's analogs) is expressed poorly, symptoms of a pseudomembranous coloenteritis (frequent defecations, abdominal pains, a cardiopalmus) in some cases can develop that sometimes happens against the background of reception of some antibiotics.

The comments on Klindatsin connected with his overdose were not registered.

Special instructions

If Klindatsin is applied systematically, then creating favorable conditions for Candide's growth which as it was already noted above, are insensitive to this drug is possible.

At emergence of dispepsichesky frustration (including diarrheas) it is necessary to refrain from Klindatsin's use temporarily.

It is better not to combine drug with other intravaginalny means and to apply it solo that belongs both to candles, and to cream.

According to the instruction to Klindatsin, cream is released according to the recipe, candles — without it.

Term and storage conditions

Temperature condition of storage of cream and suppositories differs a little: for the first is to 20 ˚С, for the second an optimal condition is the temperature interval from 15 to 25 ˚С. The place of storage, naturally, has to be whenever possible unavailable to children. A period of validity — 3 years after which drug is not recommended to be applied.
