Lantsid – drug with antiulcerous action.

Form of release and structure

Lantsid release in the form of capsules: firm gelatinous, with a text of "MICRO/MICRO"; on 15 mg – bluish-green (turquoise) color, the size No. 3; on 30 mg – pink color, the size No. 1; contents of capsules – pellets (granule) of almost white or white color (on 10 pieces in blisters, on 3 blisters in a cardboard pack).

Indications to use

• Zollingera-Ellison's syndrome;
• Peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum (at an aggravation);
• Reflux esophagitis;
• Erosive and ulcer esophagitis;
• Not ulcer dyspepsia;
• Stressful ulcers of digestive tract.

Contraindications

Absolute:

• Malignant new growths of digestive tract;
• I trimester of pregnancy and period of chest feeding;
• Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Relative (Lantsid it is necessary to take with caution):

• Liver failure;
• II-III trimesters of pregnancy;
• Age up to 18 years;
• Advanced age.

Route of administration and dosage

Lantsid accept inside. Capsules need to be swallowed, without chewing, entirely.

It is recommended to observe the following mode of dosing:

• Peptic ulcer of a duodenum and stressful ulcers: in a daily dose of 30 mg (at one time, it is desirable – before food, in the morning), course duration – 2-4 weeks;
• Peptic ulcer of a stomach and erosive and ulcer esophagitis: in a daily dose of 30 mg (increase up to 60 mg is possible), course duration – 4-8 weeks;
• Reflux esophagitis: in a daily dose of 30 mg, course duration – 4 weeks;
• Zollingera-Ellison's syndrome: the doctor selects a dose individually, optimum has to provide basal acid products less than 10 mmol an hour;
• Eradikation Helicobacter pylori: in a single dose of 30 mg, frequency rate of reception – 2 times a day, course duration – at least 7 days; therapy is carried out along with antibiotics (amoxicillin and klaritromitsiny);
• Not ulcer dyspepsia: in a daily dose of 15-30 mg, course duration – 2-4 weeks.

At elderly patients and patients with a liver failure therapy needs to be begun with the doses reduced twice, increasing them to recommended gradually, as much as possible – 30 mg a day.

Side effects

• Respiratory system: seldom – a grippopodobny syndrome, upper respiratory tract infections, pharyngitis, cough, rhinitis;
• Nervous system: headache; seldom – dizziness, an indisposition, a depression, drowsiness, uneasiness;
• Digestive tract: less often – nausea, increase or a loss of appetite, abdominal pains; seldom – locks or diarrhea; in some cases – nonspecific ulcer colitis, digestive tract candidiasis, a hyperbilirubinemia, increase in activity of hepatic transaminases (alaninaminotranspherase, aspartate aminotransferase), gamma глутамилтрансферазы, an alkaline phosphatase and a lactate dehydrogenase;
• Allergic reactions: skin rash; in some cases – a mnogoformny exudative erythema, a photosensitization;
• System of a hemopoiesis: seldom – thrombocytopenia (is followed with hemorrhagic manifestations); in some cases – anemia;
• Others: seldom – an alopecia, a mialgiya.

Special instructions

To exclude malignant new growths, before and after therapy it is necessary to carry out surely endoscopic control as Lantsid can hide symptoms and delay statement of the right diagnosis.

Medicinal interaction

At the combined Lantsid's use with some drugs development of the following effects is possible:

• The medicines which are metabolized in a liver by a microsomal oxidation (indirect anticoagulants, diazepam, Phenytoinum): elimination delay;
• Theophylline: decrease in its clearance;
• The medicines relating to weak acids: delay of pH-dependent absorption;
• The drugs relating to groups of the bases: absorption acceleration;
• Ketokonazol, ampicillin, iron salts, digoxin: preventing to their absorption;
• Sukralfat: decrease in bioavailability of a lansoprazol (it is necessary to observe a break of 30-40 minutes between administrations of drugs);
• Antacids: delay and decrease in absorption of a lansoprazol (it is necessary to observe a break 1-2 hours between administrations of drugs).

Terms and storage conditions

To store in protected from light, the place, dry, unavailable to children, at a temperature up to 25 °C.
