Lotseril
Application instruction:
Lotseril – antifungal means for external use with fungistatic and fungicidal action.
Form of release and structure
Dosage form – solution for external use of 5% (on 2,5 ml or 5 ml in glass bottles of dark color, in a cardboard pack a set: 1 bottles, tampons for cleaning of N16, N10 rake, one-time nail files of N30).
Active ingredient of Lotseril – аморолфин, in 1 ml – 0,05 g.
Auxiliary components: triacetin, copolymer of methacrylic acid, butyl acetic ether, ethyl acetate, ethanol.
Indications to use
- The onychomycosis caused by mushrooms of Candida, Cryptococcus, Pityrosporum, Microsporum, Trichophyton, Epidermophyton, Hendersonula, Alternaria, Scopulariopsis, Fonseceae, Cladosporium, Wangiella, Histoplasma, Coccidioides, Sporothrix (monotherapy – at defeat to 2/3 nail plates);
- Prevention of fungal pathologies of nails.
Contraindications
- Period of pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- Children's age;
- Intolerance of components of drug.
Route of administration and dosage
Lotseril apply outwardly, applying on the nail plates of fingers of hands and legs struck with a fungus.
The recommended frequency rate of procedures of putting solution: 1-2 times a week before total disappearance of an affected area and regeneration of a nail. Therapy duration: for nails on hands – 6 months, legs – 9-12 months.
Treatment should be carried out, strictly following the following rules of use of drug. Before each procedure by means of a nail file it is necessary to remove all numb sites of a nail plate. Then the tampon moistened in alcohol it is degreased and cleared. The enclosed rake is moistened in solution, apply it on a nail, evenly distributed and allow to dry out within 3 minutes.
After putting drug on a nail the rake is disinfected.
The affected nails should be processed consistently, avoiding contact of the treated nails with a tampon and with each other.
After use, having wiped with a tampon a neck, the bottle should be closed densely, to throw out the used tampons.
Side effects
Solution can cause burning in a site of application.
Special instructions
The nail files applied to processing of sore nails cannot be used for processing of healthy nails.
It is necessary to avoid contact of a rake with a bottle neck after wetting in solution.
The patients working with organic solvents for protection of the nails processed by solution need to put on impenetrable gloves.
It is impossible to cover the struck plates with false artificial nails.
Medicinal interaction
At simultaneous use of Lotseril with other means of clinically significant interaction it is not established.
Terms and storage conditions
To store in the unavailable to children, protected from light place at a temperature up to 30 °C.
