Настойка полыниWormwood tincture – the drug of a plant origin stimulating motor and secretory functions of digestive tract.

Form of release and structure

Tincture of a wormwood is produced in the form of transparent brownish-green liquid with a characteristic smell (on 25, 40 or 50 ml in dark glass bottles or bottles droppers from orange glass, on 1 bottle or a bottle dropper in a cardboard pack).

Is a part of 1 ml of tincture:

  • Active agent: a wormwood bitter (grass) – 200 mg;
  • Auxiliary component: 70% ethanol – in the quantity sufficient for receiving 1 ml of tincture.

Indications to use

  • Dyskinesia of biliary tract;
  • Hypo - and anacid gastritis;
  • Small appetite;
  • Chronic cholecystitis.

Contraindications

  • Hyperacid gastritis;
  • Peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum;
  • The increased gastric secretion;
  • Lactation period;
  • Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Route of administration and dosage

Tincture of a wormwood is accepted inside, it is more preferable – in 15-30 minutes prior to food.

Single dose – 15-20 drops, frequency rate – 3 times a day.

Course of treatment – 20-25 days.

Side effects

During therapy development of such side effects as is possible: nausea, diarrhea, heartburn, gastralgia, allergic reactions; at long use – vomiting.

Medicinal interaction

There are no data on wormwood tincture interaction with other medicines.

To store in protected from light, the place, cool, unavailable to children.
