Секстафаг – пиобактериофаг polyvalent, intended for treatment of pyoinflammatory diseases.

Structure of Sekstafaga and form of release

Release Sekstafag liquid in ampoules on 5 and 10 ml, in bottles on 10, 15, 20, 25 ml.

Drug represents mix of sterile filters of streptococci, fagolizat of stafilokokk, псевдомонас an aeruginoza, a protea (вульгарис and a false jalap), escherichias if and клебсиелл pneumonia.

Pharmacological action

Пиобактериофаг polyvalent specifically lyses the microorganisms corresponding to a phage:

• pyocyanic and pathogenic colibacilli;
• клебсиелл pneumonia;
• streptococci (including enterococci);
• protea (вульгарис and false jalap);
• staphylococcus.

According to Sekstafag differs in high extent of cleaning of bacterial metabolites.

Indications to use of Sekstafaga

According to the instruction of Sekstafag it is intended for treatment and prevention of enteral and pyoinflammatory diseases, namely:

• enteral infections (cholecystitis, gastroenterocolitis, generalized septic diseases, intestinal dysbiosis);
• pyoinflammatory respiratory diseases, fish soup, throats, nose, pleura and lungs (pleurisy, bronchitis, pneumonia, quinsy, inflammations of a middle ear, nose bosoms, tracheitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis);
• it is purulent - septic diseases at children of chest age and newborns (sepsis, a gastroenterocolitis, an omphalitis, a pempigus);
• urogenital infectious pathologies (colpitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, salpingo-oophoritis, cystitis, endometritis);
• surgical infections (burn, abscess, osteomyelitis, phlegmons, purulent damages of skin, peritonitises, mastitis, suppurations of wounds).

Route of administration of Sekstafaga and mode of dosing

The route of administration of Sekstafaga depends on character of the center of an infection. Locally it is applied in the form of lotions, irrigations, rinsings. Drug is used in-band for introduction to an abdominal cavity, pleural cavities, to a nasal cavity, a middle ear, nasal bosoms, by a uterus, a bladder, vaginas.

Besides, according to the instruction of Sekstafag it is possible to enter via the probe in the form of high enemas and to accept through a mouth.

The optimum duration of treatment by Sekstafag according to reviews – from one to two weeks. Use drug from one to three times a day.

As a rule, at cholecystitis, a coloenteritis, pyelonephritis, it is purulent - septic diseases and an intestinal dysbiosis drug is accepted in a liquid form on 5-20 ml three times a day for 10-15 days.

At an ongoing hyperemesis lactentium perhaps additional introduction of Sekstafaga via the probe in the form of high enemas in a dosage of 3-5 ml for one week.

Locally Sekstafag apply in a dosage up to 200 ml, depending on the sizes of an affected area.

In-band apply Sekstafag in a dosage from 5 to 30 ml.

At abscesses appoint Sekstafag according to the instruction in quantity, a little smaller the volume of remote pus. Treatment duration – up to two weeks.

At infections of ENT organs the dosage of Sekstafaga makes from 2 to 20 ml to three times a day in-band.

At newborns apply Sekstafag to treatment of pyodermas and omphalites locally, in the form of applications, twice a day for one week.

Contraindications

According to the instruction of Sekstafag it is contraindicated only at hypersensitivity to drug.

Special instructions

According to reviews of Sekstafage, before use of an ampoule and bottles it is necessary to stir up and to see carefully – drug has to be transparent, without deposit. In case of opacification of liquid or disturbance of integrity of packaging use of drug is forbidden.

After opening of a bottle or an ampoule drug is not stored.

According to Sekstafag it is possible to use together with other antiinflammatory and antibacterial drugs.
