Agromicrobiology

Agromicrobiology (Latin agri, ager – the village, the field + Greek mikros – small + bios – life + logos – science; synonym: agricultural microbiology) – the section of microbiology which studies a role of microorganisms in fertility of the soil, in processing and food of plants. Also the agromicrobiology develops methods of use of microorganisms in agricultural production.
