Biggs-Douglas-Makfarlena test

Biggs-Douglas-Makfarlena test (R. Biggs m, modern English hematologist; A. S. Douglas, English hematologist; R. G. Macfarlane) – a way of studying of retraction (department of serum) of a blood clot by means of establishment of amount of the serum which remained after removal of a clot and coagulation of a venous blood; the volume of serum is expressed as a percentage to initial size.
