Gana-Adams-Koons arthrotomy

Gana-Adams-Koons arthrotomy (outdated; E. Hahnt, German surgeon, 1841-1902; J. A. Adams; To. D. Coons; arthrotomia, Greek arthron – a joint + tomz – a section, a section) – an arthrotomy of a knee joint with formation of a rag by the arc-shaped section between crossing of a sinew by the four-head of a muscle of a hip and condyles of a hip with top over a patella.
