Virologist

The virologist is a specialist in the field of studying of the smallest intracellular parasites – the viruses causing various diseases of the person, animals and plants. The medical virologist specializes in a research of the viruses causing diseases in the person (pathogenic viruses), studying of their infectious features and properties develops diagnostic methods, treatments and prevention of the diseases caused by them.
