Application instruction:
Зорекс – an antidote, the donator of sulphhydryl (thiol) groups with antioxidant and hepatoprotective action.
Form of release and structure
Dosage form – gelatinous solid capsules: No. in size 0 and No. 00, have the white case and a pink lid, contain powder with structure, inclined to balling up, of color, white with a cream shade, and granules, existence of a specific slight smell is possible (in a blister strip packaging: on 10 pieces in a cardboard pack 1 packaging; on 2 pieces, in a cardboard pack 1 packaging; on 5 pieces, in a cardboard pack 2 packagings).
Content of active ingredients is to 1 capsule:
- Dimerkaptopropansulfonat of sodium (Unithiolum): in No. 0 – 150 mg or in No. 00 – 250 mg;
- Calcium pantothenate: in No. 0 – 7 mg or in No. 00 – 10 mg.
Auxiliary components: cellulose microcrystallic, starch prezhelatinizirovanny, povidone, hydrophosphate magnesium trihydrate, silicon dioxide colloid, citric acid (citric acid monohydrate).
Structure of solid gelatin capsules: titanium dioxide (E171), gelatin, azoruby (E122).
Indications to use
- Intoxication cardiac glycosides, acute and chronic forms of poisoning with inorganic and organic compounds of mercury, arsenic, gold, cadmium, chrome, cobalt, zinc, copper, nickel, antimony, bismuth;
- Alcoholic abstinence syndrome, for treatment and prevention of a hangover;
- Alcoholism (as a part of complex therapy).
Contraindications
- Serious illness of a liver in a decompensation stage;
- Serious illness of kidneys in a decompensation stage;
- Age up to 18 years;
- Period of pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- Hypersensitivity to drug components.
With care patients are recommended to use drug with the lowered arterial pressure.
Route of administration and dosage
Capsules accept inside, without chewing, in 30 minutes prior to food, washing down with water.
The recommended dosing:
- Poisonings with salts of heavy metals and compounds of arsenic: from 2 capsules No. 0 to 4 capsules No. 00 a day, having evenly distributed on 2-3 receptions. Period of therapy of 7-10 days;
- Prevention of a hungover syndrome: 1 capsule No. 00 before going to bed after alcohol intake;
- Treatment of an alcoholic abstinence syndrome: on 1 capsule No. 00 1-2 of time a day, in case of need frequency rate of reception it is possible to increase up to 3 times a day. The period of treatment from 3 to 7 days, to a condition of full desintoxication of an organism;
- Alcoholism: on 1 capsule No. 0 1-2 of time a day. A therapy course – 10 days.
Side effects
Zoreks's use can cause side effects:
- Allergic reactions: seldom – urticaria, a skin itch and rash, hypostasis mucous, rash on mucous body surfaces, stomatitis, a genital itch; very seldom – Stephen-Johnson's syndrome or a Quincke's disease (with typical signs in the form of sudden fervescence, an indisposition, violent or spotty and vesicular rashes on mucous membranes of a mouth and generative organs, on skin and in the field of an anus);
- Others: at reception of high doses – dizziness, nausea, pallor of skin, tachycardia.
In case of symptoms of undesirable effects it is necessary to stop reception of capsules and to see a doctor.
Special instructions
The probability of development of allergic reactions is higher at patients with bronchial asthma or presence of an allergy at the anamnesis.
Drug does not exert impact on ability of the patient to control of vehicles and mechanisms and on performance of other potentially dangerous types of the works demanding speed of psychomotor reactions and the increased concentration of attention.
Medicinal interaction
Зорекс it is not compatible for simultaneous use to the medicines including salts of heavy metals, to alkalis (quickly decays).
