Allertek

Таблетки, покрытые оболочкой, АллертекAllertek – drug with antipruritic, antihistaminic, antiallergic action.

Form of release and structure

Allertek release in the form of tablets, coated: from cream till white color, oblong, with dividing unilateral risky (on 7, 10 or 20 pieces blisters, on 1 blister in a cardboard pack).

Structure of 1 tablet:

  • Active agent: dihydrochloride of a tsetirizin – 10 mg;
  • Auxiliary components: lactose, microcrystallic cellulose, corn starch, polyvinylpirrolidone 25, magnesium stearate, sodium starch gluconate, silica gel, sodium lauryl sulfate;
  • Cover: polyethyleneglycol 6000, oksipropilmetiltsellyuloz.

Indications to use

  • Year-round/seasonal allergic rhinitis;
  • Quincke's edema;
  • Pollinosis;
  • Allergic conjunctivitis;
  • Pruritic allergic dermatosis (including neurodermatitis, atopic dermatitis);
  • Small tortoiseshell (including chronic idiopathic).

Contraindications

  • Pregnancy and period of a lactation;
  • Age up to 6 years;
  • Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Relative (Allertek appoint with care in the presence of the following diseases / states):

  • Chronic renal failure of average and heavy degree (it is necessary to carry out correction of the mode of dosing);
  • Advanced age (because of possible decrease in glomerular filtering).

Route of administration and dosage

Allertek accept inside, regardless of meal, it is desirable – in the evening. Tablets need to be swallowed, without chewing, entirely, washing down with water in a small amount.

The recommended dosing mode:

  • Children of 12 years and adults: 10 mg a day;
  • Children of 6-12 years: 10 mg a day in 1 or 2 receptions (in the morning and in the evening).

Patients with a renal failure need to reduce a dose to 5 mg a day.

At functional disturbances of a liver, in particular in combination with a renal failure, the dose is selected individually.

Elderly patients with normal function of kidneys should not adjust a dose.

Side effects

In general Allertek is had well.

Possible side effects:

  • Central nervous system: in some cases – excitement, drowsiness, a headache, dizziness;
  • Alimentary system: dryness in a mouth; in some cases – abdominal pains, dyspepsia, a meteorism;
  • Allergic reactions: in isolated cases – a Quincke's disease, a small tortoiseshell, an asthma (in this case it is necessary to interrupt immediately therapy).

Special instructions

In case of development of any side reactions it is necessary to consult at the specialist.

Without appointment of the doctor of the combined use Allertek with other substances/medicines it is necessary to avoid.

It is not recommended to apply ethanol during therapy.

Allertek appoint with care the patient who is carrying out potentially dangerous types of works which demand bystry psychomotor reactions and special attention.

Medicinal interaction

At the combined use of Allertek with theophylline the frequency of development of side reactions can increase.

Terms and storage conditions

To store in protected from light, the place, dry, unavailable to children, at a temperature of 15-25 °C.

Period of validity – 4 years.
